I went walking later this afternoon while the sun was out and it was much warmer then it is now. I made the recipe for mac n cheese and I did not like it. Sadly to say it went in the garbage. I did not want to give it to anyone. That was even after I tried to doctor it up while cooking. Oh well, better now then making it for company to try. I will try the other features of this new appliance to see if I like it. There are 12 different functions that it handles. Do you know what I did today? I watched the 51st Dove Awards and then I watched an entire series, a BBC program on Roku. I did things in between but mainly I did not over exert myself in the least today. A day of rest. I did watch a bit of live streaming this morning from my home church in Ohio.
I do not know why I am sharing this now. It affected me when I read my Pink journal the other day. So many promises and vivid dreams of things to come in my life. As I was driving home last night from church I felt led to drive through my old neighborhood and bless the land. The sound of the National Prayer Summit playing in my car. I have a grateful heart because that very place I was most thankful for when I first found it prior to me moving to TN. As I drove through I recalled the dreams I had and wrote about in my pink journal. The majority of those expereinces happened in that place. I am thankful that I did receive a dream the very first night of me staying at my new location. It was a prophetic destiny dream also.
My mother called me so excited that she discovered a new recipe for apple fritters. She says it is by far better than grandma's recipe. She was so excited to share that with me and that they were freezing some to bring when they come and visit me. I shared with her that I bought her favorite brand of ice cream in two flavors since it was on sale this week for only 1.99 each. The vanilla trio will go great with the apple fritters what do you think? My brother-in-law loves cheesecake and I already found a basic cheesecake to make for him. He does not like the fancy smanshy type. I like to explore when making cheesecakes, I tend to make ones that are not just basic cheesecake, I hope I can make this type just fine and dandy. I am in search of a small food processor to grind fresh horseradish root. We have a family tradition of making a horseradish sauce around the holidays. Last time I ground it and shared the raw ground horseradish, my mom thought it was not ground fine enough and it was too coarse in texture. I have a Kuhn Rikon type of hand grinder and it chops fine just not fine enough for horseradish root. Before you use it and store it in the refrigerator you place it in a glass jar and fill with white wine vinegar and it keeps it from turning a dark color in the refrigerator. It lasts a good amount of time so you have it when you need it.
I had to pause a minute because the wind is howling a bit outside. I covered my outside plants to shield them from the cold temperatures tonight. I am truly enjoying reading Psalms 29 daily. I am blessed each time I pick up The Passion Translation bible and read Psalms 29. Praise God from whom all blessings flow do you agree?
