Just Finished Praying In Tongues A Good Amount Of Time. Let's See How This Blog Entry Flows.

You know it really is a miracle in itself that I even got this blog up and running years ago. I truly am not a technical type of person per say. I went yesterday to the river to see if I could hear the babbling brook. I did. I even did a voice recording of it in the background with me speaking. I tried my best to try and upload that to the blog with no success. Sorry, the recording still sits in my phone and I did email it to me too. I had a ham bone left from when I made the ham the other day. So what is a gal to do with a ham bone? Make ham and cabbage soup and that is exactly what I did. See, the first portion of making the soup is to gently boil the ham bone for about an hour. I started it on the stove and then I went walking by the river. I knew to put aside a container of the soup (once it was done being made) for one of the college kids I have the pleasure of working with @ marketplace ministry. I did exactly that and presented it to them today. As I was walking I kept singing to myself "It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood it's a beautiful day in the neighborhood, it's a beautiful day oh yes it is."
Just from the hint of what I was singing what movie do you think I went to go see yesterday afternoon? "It's a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood." You should go and see this movie. It is a movie that I just knew to take along Kleenex with me. Sure glad that I did for I did use it a couple of times to wipe tears. This is a type of "feel good" movie our country needs now. Go see it and be blessed. I could take a good guess that either you or possibly your children or grandchildren watched Mr. Rogers at one time or another. The entire movie is ribboned with kindness. Trust me when I say go and see this movie ok. There is a story within the story.
I tend to use the word "Beautiful" in my daily vocabulary. Do you know why? I tend to see this as beautiful to me. The other day I was in line checking out at a grocery store and I heard Holy Spirit have me ask the younger in age young lady standing behind me if she was a college student. See, if you are in relationship with Holy Spirit you sort of get to know some of where that question is going to take you. I just knew no sooner then asking the question and the response was yes where this was going to go. I then offered to pay for her two packages of cookie mix. I remember those days when I was in college and things could get a little tight spending money wise that is so I then offered to pay for her two items and did. I asked her if she needed the receipt and she said no she was going to eat the cookies she was going to bake. When I was in college it was pretty popular to do "couponing." One of my aunts was really into this and with turning in certain labels and getting money back from doing it. I would love the surprise mail I would get from Auntie when I went to my college mailbox and there was one of those checks waiting just for me. Back then in the 70's $5.00 would go a long way. I worked the college work study program while attending school. I was blessed for that money was what allowed me to pay for my phone bill and things of that nature. I really had one of the best work study jobs on campus. I worked with the executive secretary of the Athletic Director. It was a fun job and I loved going to do this limited hours job. I think they even let me work on one of the team banquets they had. Of all the jobs to have on campus I think I got the winner on that assignment.
This past Friday, 11/22/19 was a great day to go to my mailbox for there were a few pleasant items waiting for me to open. I received my 2020 White House Calendar along with a Christmas ornament and I thought I was only suppose to get 1 music cd but two were in the package to bless me. I took a picture of it.
I recently worked on a few fixing pieces of jewelry projects. I also took a picture of that. In the picture I also included the Kindness rock I retrieved the other day while walking. Thought you may enjoy seeing it before I take it on a road trip to its next destination. Holy Spirit already showed me where to leave it. He sure is faithful isn't He?  I finished restringing my mother's onyx beads. I have a pin that there were a few of the red stones that just did not have a brightness to them so I had a few red stones and super glue and I just glued the updated stones over a few of the duller in color stones and now it looks good as new and to my liking. Notice the bracelet please. I received that as a gift years ago I think from my mother. One problem with this particular bracelet is it would periodically break where the toggle meets the little bar piece that goes into the toggle when you wear it. For the longest time I would take it with me on trips to visit my sister and she would then take it to the lady's store that created it and it would be repaired. Well, after so many times of this I needed to figure out how to fix this myself.  I went to the local craft store and spoke with someone there that makes jewelry and they walked me through how to restring this bracelet. They showed me exactly what items I would need and the rest is now history … I fix it myself and sometimes I use a different toggle or change the beginning and ending pattern like I did this time. I added the 2 pearls with the bead in-between them. So, when my sister's may break I get the call to bring my tools along with the items I have to repair hers. Isn't that funny? See, I am a fixer by nature. If I see a need I will find a way to solve the problem. The trick is this, it has to be something that interests me and is probably a bit on the crafty side too.
Oh this is funny, on my marketplace ministry job once the District Manager commented to me that I could sell ice to an Eskimo. I thought and then replied to them that no I can only sell what I really like or believe in. If you are ever there when I have not been in the store for a few weeks you will see me perusing the store to see what is new. In the moment that I should happen to find something I really like or I think it is unique and you are standing within distance of me I will comment on how cute that is etc. I then proceed to tell the customer that I am only there so many hours and I am like a child in a candy store...Oh look at that. I really do have that bubble up excitement that wells up inside of me and I speak it forth.
This is the scripture verse Holy Spirit directed me to this morning. It comes from The Passion Translation. Luke 8:2-3: "His twelve disciples traveled with him and also a number of women who had been healed of many illnesses under his ministry and set free from demonic power. Jesus had cast out seven demons from one woman. Her name was Mary Magdalene, for she was from the village of Magdala. Among the women were Susanna and Joanna, the wife of Chusa, who managed King Herod's household. Many other women who supported Jesus' ministry from their own personal finance also traveled with him."
Something to think and ponder about what do you think? Oh, since I took the picture of the bracelet I cleaned it and it sparkles much more now.

What's nice about this bracelet is the letters are on each side so I can wear it in one direction or another. There are days when I wear it with their names facing my heart and other days with their names in an outward direction.
