Church Was Tender & Intimate Today 11/17/2019

I was able to attend church today since I was not scheduled for marketplace ministry. Today it was water baptism for the children of the church. It was so tender and prophetic also. After the children were water baptized at the close of the service Pastor asked the worship piano player to play a song. It was so beautiful, "Victory in Jesus." Before the song was started he had us close our eyes and recall our own water baptisms. That is where the tenderness struck my heart. I recalled that glorious day. Holy Spirit gently nudged me that it was time for me to be water baptized years ago. I signed up and followed His lead. Most people when they are baptized as an adult tend to wear clothes items like tee shirts or things of that nature or even a white choir type of robe. Not me. Holy Spirit wanted me to dress up just for Him. I had a beautiful outfit I purchased from Spiegel back then. A teal colored wool sweater that had pearls sewn on the front of the sweater. I even had matching wool trousers that were lined. Even though a wool outfit may not be the best when mixed with a baptismal pool filled with water. Never the less I dressed that day for Holy Spirit.
It was glorious what I experienced as I came up from under the water. I will show the picture again, the expression on my face says it all. So glad a photographer captured it all. Do you recall the song my son was singing to me in a microphone as I came up from under the water? A prophetic song about his mother's destiny. He sang about the deliverance ministry that I flow in. At first I was mortified that he is singing about binding and rebuking in front of church folks in attendance of baptisms that day. God Bless Christopher for flowing in Holy Spirit at his tender and young age. I know God honors and blesses him for this. It was not much longer time wise that I had the honor of water baptizing my own son in Lake Hartwell. The same day my niece wanted the same thing my son was getting so I lead her to Jesus and then water baptized her after I baptized my son. To God be the GLORY now and forever Amen.
Back to what happened at church today. As we all began to sing "Victory in Jesus" we seemed to come alive. There was clapping as we sang. At the close of the song Pastor then prophesied at the pulpit. What a wonderful way to leave church today. My hearts desire would be to water baptize my daughter one day. Oh this is an updated testimony about her being hit by the drunk driver last weekend. Her car was totaled and she was presented a check and sure enough she found a new car today. Let me show you her new car if I may. She loves red so it did not surprise me that her car is red. See, what the enemy meant for evil and to maime or harm my child, God turned it around and she is fine and she now has a 2020 new car. Praise God from whom all blessings flow now and forever Amen.
