Oh my goodness. Just when I thought I saw about everything this video I viewed. These are people in whom our church in Ohio esteemed and lifted up to honor. This is eye opening this sword ceremony Dr. Sumrall is conducting. I do not see how this is biblical. With viewing this particular video, I went in search to find a workbook in which I used to participate in a Lester Sumrall class @ church years ago. If I recall correctly, it was via video tapes we would watch then the class was continued via a local church instructor from our church.
The class I participated in was "Demonology & Deliverance Principals & Powers". Looks like I took this class in 2001. I notated in the workbook that when we were on lesson 20 there were 3 more classes left & on 3/29/2001 it was going to be the review class for the test. In viewing notes, the class must have started 1/4/2001.
Needless to say, this book is going in the trash, and I already broke any ungodly soul ties or connections with this prior to me throwing it away. It is important to close doors you may have allowed to be opened in your life, even doors opened up about 23 years ago. Yes, doors opened up even in a church setting. How trusting I was and hungry for the things of God at the same time.
Since this is some heavy stuff. Let me share a song of hope and uplifting about Jesus to finish up with the sweet, sweet presence of Holy Spirit. It is a perfect duet with Crowder & Anne Wilson. The latest song in my CD player in "repeat" mode. I also cleared out other books from my library and turned them in to a local Christian store that buys used books, and you get a very small dollar credit back if they buy them. That's okay though because I put it towards music, like this CD I bought of Anne Wilson. I even told them if they didn't want to buy any of the books to just throw them away. One of those very books I bought there, and it was The Passion Translation Bible. I never connected with that book, or it didn't speak to me so I turned it in. Now, did a man translate that book? Whatever happened to bibles being translated under the unction of Holy Spirit. Be cautious of what books you allow into your home library.
