Back Porch Neighbors Are As Sweet As Can Be.

This morning I was outside taking updated pictures of the plants I am growing in the yard. This has never happened before in TN. Now, this used to happen when I lived in the smaller community of Vermilion, Ohio. I see my neighbor out on the deck, and I said Good Morning. Then I shared how I went and bought doughnuts yesterday and would they like one. I told them the choices and maple frosted was the one selected. They then went and got the container I brought the rice dish to them to give back to me. Believe it or not they asked me if I wanted to sit down for a bit. Well, that brief little conversation lasted about almost 2 hours of neighbors getting to know each other. It was starting to get warm outside, but a gentle breeze now and then would pass through. I have found that if you let someone share, they have a story to tell you. I am blessed to have a lovely neighbor to sit on the back porch with. Let's call this a back porch neighbor chat. I think this is more common living in a small rural type of community as opposed to a larger city type of community, do you agree.

Do you like the updated pictures of how my garden grows? Quite honestly, this was a good change from watching livestream church today because 2 Christians gathered together and when 2 or more gathers isn't Jesus in our midst. There is only so much time you can watch ministry related videos and classes taken, there comes a time when you then take it outside of the walls in your home to your neighbors and neighborhood too.
