That is a question I present to you today. Do you respond to the gentle nudge of Holy Spirit. It may take an in-face dream to get you to move in action. That is what it took for me today. I knew inside of me I should have sent an email over the weekend sometime. Maybe even on this past Friday. If you wait and wait and wait some more for the most perfect time to jump into action, you just may miss the moment. Well, if the moment is important to God, He will find a way to nudge you into action. He did that very thing for me today.
Literally a person's face was practically in my face space in the dream. So close in distance I was able to see a new pair of glasses they were wearing with great detail. They were a rectangle/oblong sort of shape. They were in sections clear translucent plastic amidst sprinkling sections of tortoise shell design/pattern/color. I told you I pay attention to details and in the dream, I thought this new look for the person was nice. Different than what you are used to seeing but a really nice, fresh look for them. That was just the intro portion of the dream. The person spoke with an excitement in their voice as they shared about something. They spoke as if they wanted me to see something they thought I didn't see yet. I had to state back in response in the dream that I was there when it happened, and I saw what they were speaking about.
I knew that the email was overdue, so I wrote it and sent it off early today. Apparently, this was important to God that Holy Spirit gave me the dream to not delay sending the email any longer. It is true when you hear someone say that if you don't catch on to an inkling inside of you then in the midst of sleep time Holy Spirit can give you the dream. Not distracted in dream time rest like the distractions of day-to-day happenings in life. I have some of that going on right now. Did you ever hear of such nonsense as this. There are new owners of the property where I reside, and this took over this place way back in August. I am hearing crazy stories from good tenants that are or have already moved out of this property with rental increases of 400.00 or more a month when you renew your lease. I know this place is nice but not that worthy of a hefty increase in rent with no new amenities to offer the paying guests. When you inquire about these amenities, they tell you they can't let you know for a couple of months and that everyone will find out together. I am calling their bluff because one of the incentives of renewing your lease has been taken away from the new owners. You used to be able to choose if you wanted your apartment cleaned by the cleaning company or your carpets cleaned. Well guess what? There apparently is a time frame I found out about today of only 30 days from your renewal for it to happen and you are not grandfathered in under your old lease agreement.
This is the real kicker in this story. We are billed our individual water consumption bills which also include trash & pest control from a 3rd party biller. The last bill we received was dated 9/1/2022. When you inquire as to when you will be getting your water bill which is now 3 billing cycles outstanding, they really don't have an answer for you. I contacted the water utility to see if I could pay them to be current and you cannot. Apparently, the owners pay up front so as to not collect individual amounts owed from residents. Basically, you can't even get any info when you call and inquire because you are not the owner the account is in. Reached out to the 3rd party biller and they cannot even tell you what your running total is because they only generate bills from the information given to them by the owners. I reached out to the corporate owners located in another state and they would assure me several times the bills would be released then. Then goes by and still no bills generated. Another time I was told it is not like buying a house and transferring things. It takes much longer even though the official sale of property was back in August. The leasing office sent out a monthly newsletter and made no mention of the water bill situation. When I spoke with corporate, they told me they have no control over what the property manager places in the newsletter. I inquired about that very thing tonight and was told by the leasing office that they can only place in the newsletter what corporate tells them to write. I think someone is not telling the truth here what do you think? I also caught the assistant property manager in a lie today too. I inquired a bit ago about upcoming rental increases and was specifically told that they occurred @ a 15% increase under the former owners. I then said but there are new owners now. They responded that the new owners kept what was in place when they took over. So, when I reminded this person of what they said to me they denied ever saying it and said they never said it. Something like it was my word against theirs. I do not like being lied to.
I came up with a plan so as to not have a crazy 4 or maybe even 5-month worth of water bills I made a payment in faith and now I have a credit on my account to sort of offset the total bill amount when it is released to the residents. I asked what about them withholding the water bills from the residents is that the breaking their portion of the lease with us. I was told it is not. I further inquired if they would be evicting residents that could or would not pay the water bills once they are released and they said no. Apparently the way it was explained if they don't pay the bills there will be an amount owed on their account and when they move out if it is not paid it goes to the attorney at that point for collection. I inquired what are they doing about people letting other people move into their apartments are they going to do anything about that. The response is they don't have time to look into this and I believe they referred to it as it is illegal to stalk tenants to see who is staying in their apartments. Apparently, you can have someone stay over 48 hours and it is fine. I think just maybe my time may be coming to a close living at this once nice residence that is slowly going downhill. Such a shame, such a shame.
I know you may not like what I said next but just had to go there especially once I was bold face lied to. I inquired if the rental increase is due to me being a single woman that is heterosexual. I didn't even get to finish the part about my age, religion or color too. I was cut off and they placed their hands over their ears and told me this conversation was over and if I wanted to pursue that I had to have that conversation with the manager who was actually sitting at the other desk. If I am going to pay what the rent increase of what possibly it is going to be I mise well move to a place where I do not have to listen to people fighting; 80 lb. dog running around; loud parties by the pool and grilling area; bitten by spiders BUT in this place, there is peace in my apartment, and I have had powerful prophetic dreams and God encounter experiences here also.
Can you see why I may be a little distracted at times.
