You know how I love sharing my testimony with you to encourage you. I do it to cheer you on and show you that it is not as hard as you may think it is. My forte at times is praying prayers for total strangers. I don't know them or anything about them, but Holy Spirit does, and I trust Him when He says speak and share, I do. It is that simple. Follow Holy Spirit leadings because He is always faithful, He truly is.
I was at a local Kroger the other day and I was in there not for weekly shopping or anything like that. I was there to return an item with the receipt I had and then just get a few things. I noticed going throughout the store I kept running into a particular woman dressed in a medical type of uniform. It seemed like everywhere I went she and I would be in the same place a lot. Like I am going down 1 aisle and there she comes up the other end of the aisle. So, I am at the self-serve check out after going to the customer service desk. And there they are, right next to me at checkout. I followed Holy Spirit lead and said excuse me, we kept running into each other in the store do you need prayer for anything. She responded that people can always use prayer. I then asked if it was ok to pray for her and she said yes. Right there at the self-checkout registers I stopped, listened and Holy Spirit fed me the very words for this very person in Murfreesboro, TN. I then went about the rest of the evening. This is so much a part of who I am. He leads, I follow until the next time He calls upon me.
I was at the TJ Maxx yesterday late afternoon in Franklin and as I am walking from my car to the store a lady says Merry Christmas to me as she was walking to her car from the store. I did not quite catch it at first and asked her to repeat it. She did and my natural flow that I responded to her was And A Blessed New Year. We both agreed. There is no labor or toiling when the Holy Spirit is in the exchanges, He brings you on. Trust me in this I would not share things to cause you to be a failure at evangelism. Listen, trust, act according to what Holy Spirit shows you and He is ever faithful.
I finished all of my painting projects so today I worked on refreshing furniture. As long as I can remember my mom always used some lemon ammonia water diluted with warm/hot water to wipe up the fabric material pieces of furniture and rugs too. You get a sponge and wring it out very good every time you place it in the cleaning solution. You do not want to saturate the piece of furniture but wipe the surfaces lightly. It brightens up the furniture and seems to put life back in the furniture. I also wiped up a few area rugs too today. I was with friends the other day and one of them update furniture pillows. She noticed before that her pillows she was replacing were the same pattern of the pillows on my couch. She sent me a picture of her pattern and we compared the 2. Her pillows were larger in size, and the pattern the same but less of a busy pattern. She offered to me if I would like them. I said yes. She is such a kind friend that she offered to fill them with pillow stuffer stuff for me. There were 5 pillows, and she had enough filler to fill 4.5 of them. She gave me the idea to fill the rest in the one pillow. I had two decorative pillows I no longer needed so I cut 1 open and filled in the section needed in the pillow.
Good thing I showed the one pillow to a neighbor because I was about to open up the pillow to fill it up and then hand sew it back. She noticed the pillows had a zipper on it. It was so easy working on this project. Unzip the pillow, fill it up, then zip it back up.
I decorated my patio the other day and I wanted to place a flood light on the wreath I put on the outside of the center portion of the patio. I knew I had one of those outdoor extension cords somewhere. I did not want to purchase one since inside me I knew I had one somewhere. Sure enough I went through the totes in storage and there were the flood lights, an outdoor extension cord and another extension cord. The trick to this one is to turn the patio railing lights on and the flood light and then turn them off too. I enjoy decorating. I will show you the 3-tree grouping I put up. If you can see the tree skirt know I made it, ruffle and all years ago when I took on that project 1 year.
I made custom designed reversible tree skirts for so many in the family. A friend of mine at work taught me how to make & sew them. I coordinated the material on both sides of the tree skirt and took into consideration the persons personality and their interior home decor. I will probably not make them again because it was easy until you got to the part of making the ruffle portion. Hey, I did it. I now have in my possession two of these tree skirts. One I made for our family and the one I made for my dad. I have 2 children maybe this is the year to give my dad's to my son and our family one to my daughter.
I truly love my Holy Spirit adventures/encounters. Do you? What shall I do next, possibly bake something or rest.

| I only put 1 ornament on each tree this year. I just gotta find a place on one of those trees to put my Liddle Kiddle's Kabin. |
