Yesterday's Adventure With Holy Spirit, Fun, Fun, Fun. It Started The Night Before Watching Old Time Movie, "Gigi." Miracle Baby Girl Came Home From Hospital, She Reached 5 Lbs.

This adventure actually started Friday night, March 25/2022. When I want to watch an old-time movie, I will search through classics in HBO Max under that category. I have done this before, and the movie "Gigi" would pique my interest but not watch it that night. It was Friday evening it stirred inside of me to watch it and I did. Never realizing it was the start of my Saturday adventure, so much fun in my life. I was up most of Friday night and would sleep off and on again and I seldom do this, I actually did not get up until 9:30AM. One of those moments I woke from a dream and heard specific words in a brief statement. I knew they were important, so I wrote them down. I knew the direction I was to take that day. Go to the nice I larger in size Dollar Tree, Kroger's, Sprouts Market, Dirt Cheap. I was heading back, and Holy Spirit says to stop @ Dillard's and from there to Marshall's.

I found out recently that the miracle pre-maturely born baby girl was finally released to come home when she reached 5 lbs. I saw her mom yesterday and she said she is up to 7lb.'s. Praise God for the miraculous because she was a little over 1 lb. when she was born. It is important that I now knew her size so I could buy a little welcome home baby gift for her. I remember years ago when our 2nd child was born, and people were so kind and thoughtful when they would come to visit. They brought a gift for our son, but they also brought a gift for our first-born daughter too, so she did not feel left out. Isn't that a sweet and lovely idea? It stayed with me throughout the years and so I did the same. I found a cute outfit for her and a little something for her big brother too. I did not want to decorate it overly little girl style since there was also a gift tucked inside for her brother. I will give it to them the next time I see them. Oddly enough, I know which apartment building they live in but not their actual apartment number.

So, I think the movie, "Gigi" was from 1958, the year this little girl was born, imagine that! If I lived in that era I would have done quite well. Meaning to be taught proper etiquette, how to pour tea/coffee, properly carry yourself when you walk. Wearing elegant gloves to go with your beautiful & fine quality clothing. How to serve your guests. Things like that. I think I may still have 2 or 3 etiquette books I use for reference when needed today. It is important to set the table properly be it a buffet or elegant setting. How to properly consume certain items at a dinner party etiquette wise I mean. The importance of how to properly hold a cold beverage in the hand so when it comes time to shake hands with another it is done just right. I loved playing with my Barbie dolls and Little Kiddle's, along with Chatty Cathy too.  I really am a girly girly type of woman. I like nice things and surroundings and making people feel welcome when they come to visit. I will not apologize for this either because God placed these qualities inside of me and I celebrate them. I always remember my mother telling my sister and I that "Simplicity is the height of elegance." I prayed for miracle baby girl again this morning for creative miracles to continue in her life. To God be the glory, Amen.

Gigi (1958) - Thank Heaven for Little Girls

The brother's gift intrigued me; I would want to play with that even though I am 63 years old. Why didn't they make fun things like this when I was a little girl?

Did you notice the pink pacifiers and bottles on the decorative ribbon?

One more thought. My former husband and I sent both of our children to manners/etiquette class when Dillard's used to offer them years ago. Why do they not offer this in school? They should.
