There is so much going on here, there & everywhere quite frankly. You hear the cries of people to fast & pray for the Ukraine, and rightly so. I thought when I woke from a dream today about waste & spending where I work that I was being called to fast & pray in 1 direction, but Holy Spirit pointed me in another direction. Let me share about a recent experience in renewing my license plate tags. I was informed that being a resident in the state of TN that I did not have the option to keep my current plates and I had to trade them in for the new, not so nice looking license plates that were ordered by the current governor of the state of TN. Apparently, he wanted us to have new license plates is what I was told and I could not keep the plates with the old design. They were light in color and much larger print on the plates that stated In God We Trust. These new license plates are dark in color, and you have to request the plates that state In God We Trust. Governor Lee, I voted for you because I was told you are a Christian and you would be good for our state. Remember on election night, I met you @ The Factory and you allowed me to pray a prophetic blessing prayer in which you responded Amen to that blessing prayer?
What happened? I hope you did not give into the establishment out there. Please tell us why something that is so near and dear to a Christian was diminished in size on the new license plates, In God We Trust? Are you changing your religious beliefs in subtle ways to be politically correct now? I would hope not but I have a few questions for you today. I contacted a senator and point blank asked a few questions about these illegals that crashed our safe country illegally from all over the world and are being secretly released into the great state of TN. I was given a response that did not point-blank answer my questions. What percentage are resettled into the county and city where I reside. When speaking with another official in Washington I was told they may not have been able to answer my questions with a percentage number because they are not being told the actual numbers. If I recall correctly, I was to contact the governor's office. Months ago, I contacted your office and basically was not given answers then either. If you didn't want these illegals to resettle originally in our state, then why are you letting them now. You have to stand up and take a firm stance on this matter.
We want to know who, where they resettled from originating country, are they criminals out to harm our communities, and why do they get free housing in apartment communities with brand new furniture given to them also. We love people in the state of TN, but we are not ignorant to the fact that people doing illegal acts to begin with (crashing our southern border illegally and with disregard of our laws) are now flooding our communities with unknown diseases inclusive of physical, mental and spiritual to be quite honest. We want answers, how many are in our state and where are they heavily populated in regions of our state? A breakdown of each city, county and totals in the entire state of TN. Who is looking out for us? We are working and paying taxes and how much or our income is being used to give these illegals all the free perks they are receiving. These are not unreasonable requests of the taxpayers that voted you into office and those that did not vote you into office. You represent us all.
If one has a credit monitoring system in place that notifies you if a sex offender lives in your area, then why cannot the citizens be notified the same if there is a potentially dangerous illegal that is located in your surrounding area? These are grave concerns I have. I am only one voicing these very concerns so I can just imagine how many others are thinking the same thoughts but maybe aren't bold enough to ask the questions I am asking today. Do not grow weary in doing good and stand up for us as the governor of this state. I am one voice crying out in the wilderness whereas you are one loud voice that can take our concerns to greater levels to get answers for us collectively. Stand up for what is right in the eyes of God, not the eyes of man. There is still time to make a shift in our state to bring great glory to God.
I find this interesting that yesterday I felt compelled to pull out a copy of a recipe my grandmother used to bake, Poppyseed Cake with Walnuts. I have looked at this recipe several times now off and on and would just put it back in my recipe folder for another day. Yesterday was the day I actually baked it. I had this desire to somehow connect with one of my grandparents and I found comfort in seeing my grandmother's handwritten recipe and baked it in my residence. Oddly enough, this is 1 of 4 grandparents that was born in the USA while the other 3 immigrated to the USA. All four have the same rich heritage. The other 3 immigrated to our country the legal way via Ellis Island, they did not illegally force their way into our country and get lots of perks for doing so either. They were hard working people that assimilated to the American way. They ran from socialism to live in the freedoms the United States offered them. I find this interesting, this very grandmother of mine would write letters to my grandfather's family for him. When I was a member of the Croatian folk group, and we were getting ready to go to Croatia in 1976 for a convention and then tour the country and perform also as we toured. This very grandmother reached out to my then deceased grandfathers relatives, and they came to meet us for the first time. They brought gifts and treated us wonderful. Many miles away from us we were able to see family resemblances of these relatives across the ocean from us. That is what family is about do you agree. I am going to share Grandma's recipe with you today. I do not know who the people are listed on this recipe. I would guess they must have been good bakers because my grandmother was a wonderful baker and excellent cook too. She probably trusted their baking to write down their recipe do you agree? Now I have to see who Holy Spirit wants me to share Grandma's cake with? I had to adapt it a bit for I did not have a tube pan. I used a Bundt pan and there was so much batter I then filled three smaller sized loaf pans too.
One final thought ... God miraculously opened a door for me to move to TN. Do you think it could have been just for today to fast and pray for TN?
