I Feel The Baking Anointing Coming Upon Me, Buckeye Brownies & Tart Cherry Scones.

I always sense in advance when the baking anointing is about to come upon me. Holy Spirit always shows me in advance what I will be baking. This time I will make a popular recipe that people tend to like, Buckeye Brownies. Reminds me a bit of home because buckeyes are in Ohio. This is a popular candy which is a combo of chocolate and peanut butter. Winning combination. When I was an event planner, I always remembered this sort of unspoken word/thought ... you can never have enough chocolate when serving guests. People love chocolate. Another tidbit from those days, when serving appetizers instead of a main meal at a gathering, you will more than likely pay a higher premium for your event then if ordering a meal. People for some reason come to an event expecting to be fed well. So, the # of appetizers per person being ordered sort of goes out the window. You plan on a person taking a certain number per person until someone comes along and takes more than enough, now over the estimated amount per person. I saw this over and over again, just order a main meal and you will be farther ahead in this. Trust me, I used to not only do the planning, executing but I also presented the final bill to guests.

I have a scone mix for tart cherry, sounds interesting doesn't it. I actually have another mix for raspberry scones too. This time tart cherry, I bought the baking decorative sugar to sprinkle on top before baking and they are in the colors of sugar color mixed with red too, how festive is that.

I was at the local postal station yesterday and I saw one of the employees I would bring in baked goods I made to them now and then. She reminded me her birthday is coming up (the day after Valentine's Day) and she even wrote it down on a piece of paper for me too. I know her by name and for some odd reason I remember the day off during the week when she is not there. I told her I was going to bake the brownies & scones. She said she never had a scone before. See, God always has a plan for the people He wants me to bake and share with. I must admit I do enjoy blessing others via baking. I cannot just get up one day and say I am going to bake; it has to be the right timing/purpose too. I will be facing something of a bit of a challenge. When one is used to making gift baskets/care packages and then has been delivered from making them to please others & to be accepted the challenge is now presented before you. Will I take the bait of satan or follow the instruction of the Lord? By nature, I truly am a giver of gifts, but I trust Holy Spirit when He says not this time, so I yield because He knows the reason behind this.

I finished the deliverance book last night and it truly was amazing. Did you ever read a book and when it was coming to the end of the book you wanted to keep on reading only to find out there are no more pages to read? That is how I describe this book. Everyone should get a copy of this book and get set free, free indeed free indeed.

Actually, I am referring 3 books you just may want to order and read.

Isn't this cute, I just had to share this picture of my daughter's bunnies, Bun Bun & Mrs.
 Honeybun.
