Tullahoma Still A Bit Too Rural For Me. I Do Love Sneaking Away To Shop There. I Found A Few Good Deals Yesterday While There. Also Including A Journal Entry I Wrote 6/30/2011 About Quilt Making Card Kit Journey I Was On.

This is a sample of quilt cards I made from the card kit I make reference to.
I trained in the morning for a seasonal job. Went home and then off to view a rental home in Tullahoma. It was a house built in the 1940's and the owner did a lovely job of interior upgrades. Apparently back then they would build 2 front doors on a house? One was to enter the home via the living room. The other front door led to the bedroom. Not comfortable at all having a front door entrance to the main bedroom, what in the world were they thinking when they designed this house. What caught my eye was the exterior picture of this stone house. When I arrived I looked at the rural type of driveway to the car port and asked if it was ok to park in the street. I parked in the street and asked how was it getting into the grass/stone/gravel driveway during snow. Response that there has been no problem. Can you believe this, the owner told me they had over 100 inquiries about this rental property. They only responded to those that filled out a further info gathering questionnaire. This owner was so kind and another person viewed the home prior to me seeing it and they were holding off to see if I would like it. The woodwork was beautiful. The beaded wood design ceilings were nice too. There was very little storage for clothing and other items also. No privacy fence either for the backyard but the plus is the owner took care of any yardwork. A very nice owner I met yesterday. I inquired if there was an Aldi's out there because brisket of beef was on sale this week.
I left the appointment and off to Ollie's where I found a few items. I was able to indirectly bless Israel becasue I found "Dead Sea Collection" antibacterial hand soap made in Israel for only $2.49. The scent is lovely, Coconut Lemongrass. Then there is McCafe brand of coffee I already tried cinnamon mocha. It was time to now try Chocolate Mocha and it is only $3.99 per bag of ground coffee.
Off to drive by another home, so glad I did not make an appointment to view that  house. Now onto Aldi's. They had the brisket of beef so I purchased it along with red wine vinegar. See, there are pluses to shopping in more rural stores becasue everything does not sell out on the day the ad starts. That tends to happen a lot at a local Aldi's. The people that are not working now I was told line up and wait for the store to open the day a new ad comes out. So when the working folks go to shop the great featured items have already been sold. I already divided the beef into 2 sections. One I will make in my electric pressure cooker today and the other went in the freezer for another time to make it. I have about 8 hours or so of training I need to complete sometime today.
I was up early today and sorting through my music CD's. In the midst of this I found a CD by August Rain and the song on "repeat" mode I am playing now is "Let it Rain." I also found a journal entry I wrote on a legal size note pad that I will share now. I penned this journey experience on 6/30/11. About my search for a card making kit to make quilt designed cards. This was a faith building experience let me share with you if I may .....................................
As I read this I knew exactly what TJ Maxx I found this at. Isn't that amazing how Holy Spirit refreshes you and brings to your very memory the experience all again?  I liked the card kit container so much that I use it this day to store some of my card making tools inside it.

"I was at the near end of my patchwork card making kit-it was stirred up inside me today to go & see if I could find another 1. Went to a few stores & could not find one. Then there was this thought that came to me-try 1 more store. I was heading to 1 location-then it popped into my mind to switch directions & head to another location. I did.
I began to peruse the store in search of it & I was in the stationary section of the store. Just moments prior I stood in the aisle & silently said to the Lord-if what You've shown me is truly faith & will come to pass then show me by letting me find this card set. I looked in all of the obvious places-no card kit. Then I looked up & behind some other stationary & there it was-1 card kit just like the other 1 & only 1 of them. I grabbed it & put it in my cart … now this is where the ministry comes in. I am silently thanking the Lord for the confirmation & it leaps inside me to share it with a fellow shopper browsing in the same aisle I was @.  I said excuse me & then asked her if she believed that you can ask God to show you a confirmation through something. I then briefly shared with her my silent ? asking for a confirmation & I then went onto to speak of His faithfulness.
This woman said she needed to hear an encouraging thought like I shared with her. She had a day when it was fine then all of a sudden the enemy came in & began to cause her to doubt. She didn't know where it came from.
Here I am in the stationary aisle of a store teaching about sometimes-Christian's can pray prayers with a wrong intent or their heart is not right with you or with the Lord & how it is now a word curse against you & when you feel that heaviness come upon you-Holy Spirit will assign & show you how many angels are around you/assigned to you & He will increase them by number when it is needed. Your job in all of this … In the name of Jesus you command them to go & send right back what is coming or trying to come against you right back to the originator.
God is good & ever so faithful … I could have chose to go my direction-but I chose to go in Holy Spirits direction today. Not only was there confirmation with a blessing all wrapped in 1 just for me. I chose to follow the nudge to share my witness with that woman & she was then blessed also for she was seeking an answer from God in her life. Holy Spirit then used her to share a brief word of confirmation in my life also.
Praise God always & forever-we shared that we will see each other in heaven & even Abraham & others will be asking us ?'s about what it was like for us living in the end times-not just us asking them ?'s."

Let It Rain

How about this sweet ending, this is the quilt my mother was making while I was growing inside her. Maybe that is why I like the color green. Yes, I have this quilt in my possession this very day
