High Humidity & Warm Temperatures Where I Live & I Find Myself Making A Comfort Food Meal For Tomorrow. Would You Like To Know What I Literally Just Finished Making?

This afternoon I parboiled some rice with the intent of making stuffed peppers (the rice is a part of the meat mixture.) I went to Sprouts Market after watching (after work that is) 2 half hour episodes of a great show they play on the GRIT television channel. "Tales of Wells Fargo." Do not ask me why but I enjoy watching this show sometimes after work. I like to unwind a bit. My intent was to go walking first then off to the market. It started to rain so I went shopping first then walking. My plan was to make the stuffed peppers tomorrow but I had the energy to make them tonight so that is what I did. I even made home made mashed potatoes that I cooked in my electric pressure cooker with a few cloves of garlic that cooked with the potatoes. I like to use a rice mill instead of a potato masher because it makes the potatoes smooth in texture and no lumps to have to deal with.
I discovered this years ago, using red peppers when making stuffed peppers really does taste not so strong tasting as when making them with green bell peppers. I also found it best to cut the peppers in half and then you stuff each half instead of a whole pepper. So much easier to make when cooking them too. Half a stuffed pepper is a good portion because you can add a bit more meat mixture as you mound it into the pepper. Why am I sharing that with you? I have no idea other than someone must like stuffed peppers out there that reads my blog. The scent of freshly made stuffed peppers now fills the atmosphere of where I reside. So dinner is done for the next few days and I say yay to that. If I tire of them I can always freeze one for another day.
When going through items I came across a DVD that was made in 2004. It is with Kenneth Copeland, Oral Roberts & Richard Roberts. A commentary is also included with Gloria Copeland & Billye Brimm. I had the opportunity to recently listen to it and it sure does sound like it could have been made for the times in which we live in now. It is called "The Wake-Up Call." You should search this out and view it if you can find it.
Well, the painters did not come back today. I still have the candy bar along with the chilled waters/juice drinks in the refrigerator to bless them when they do come back to the building. Short and sweet this blog is tonight. Maybe I inspired you to make a comfort meal even though it is in the midst of Summer time heat and humidity.
Oh I was able to also cut a few fresh sprigs of parsley that I grew in a patio planter to add to the stuffed pepper meat mixture. I chop it up and not leave it in whole pieces when I cook with it.
