I Am Watching The Replay Of "The Send." Seing Benny Hinn Reminds Me Of Volunteering In The Choir When One Of His Crusades Came To Cleveland, Ohio.

As I am watching the replay of The Send I am reminded of this when I saw Benny Hinn on the platform. This was years ago. I was staying on vacation @ Lake Hartwell with family. Benny Hinn was at a crusade in North Carolina. I asked family members if they wanted to join me on this adventure to go to the crusade. No one responded yes so I went on this journey by myself. I want to let you know that where we were staying it got really dark at night and I knew I had to make this journey back home and it would be night time on the return journey. I found my way back home.
So I arrive at the arena and I found a seat literally way across the arena at the opposite end in the back. Let me tell you this...….even though I was far from the platform where Benny Hinn was preaching the anointing was very strong in the arena. I knew that I knew that I knew this ministry is real and sincere. I remember crying when seeing the response to the altar call to meet Jesus. I really cried in thanksgiving at this very tender, miraculous moment. I drove back to the vacation location in the dark and I really did find my way back to the lake house we stayed at. Oddly enough, this is the very lake house at one time I water baptized my son in Lake Hartwell and led my niece to Jesus and then water baptized her in the same lake on the same day. I shared that story with you all before on this very blog.
As I am listening to Benny Hinn worship @ The Send I am still in awe of how he knows the presence of God and always is sensitive to Holy Spirit and God moving. So Benny Hinn comes to Cleveland, OH at the Wolstein Convocation Center. I signed up to volunteer in the choir. I did volunteer. Mind you, I lived about an hours drive away from this location and lived on a fixed income at the time but I was called by Holy Spirit and I went in obedience. I was now at the opposite end of the arena but this time just behind the platform where he was preaching. So different to see the crusade behind the platform so to speak as opposed to the opposite end of the arena I experienced in NC. Amazing how God has a plan if only you will respond to the journeys He takes you on. I love Holy Spirit journeys do you?
Well, there is more to this story. I was working for Estee Lauder at the time as a Catholic woman mind you and I was given a book to read, "Good Morning Holy Spirit" by Benny Hinn. I read this book and I remember responding to the prayer at the end of the book and crying right there in the food court of the mall while on break/lunch. I did not know back then that I prayed a prayer of salvation for no one told me about that back then. It was not until later when I began to learn about evangelism that it was actually a prayer of salvation. See, I then read the book again and said wow I prayed that prayer back then. I was compelled by Holy Spirit to purchase this book and I think it was another book by Benny Hinn, "The Blood" if I remember correctly and I donated those books to our local library.
I had such a child like faith (and still do) that I knew to send some of my journal writing as a book so I liked the logo/was drawn to it on the back of Benny Hinn's books (it was a tree figure) and I did not know any better I just sent copies of my actual cursive writing from my journals submitted to I think it was called Creation House. I received correspondence back from Ginger Schmaus/Project Editor at the time. Letter dated 2/24/1997. I noticed a typo in the letter as I look at it now, they added an extra "L" to the city in which I resided in at the time. I must admit that I never did follow through with the suggestion in the body of the letter. I do believe it was an exercise in faith to send the journal writings to them for the unction was connected with the logo on the back of the book. See how God is faithful? Well I have to go get ready now for a Holy Spirit journey for today. Going to volunteer distributing food to a local community to community people in need. Praise God.
