"Benny Hinn @ Morris Cerullo World Conference 2019" Judy Jacobs sings as part of worship. A powerful song she is known for singing, "Days of Elijah." So refreshing to see a choir in choir robes. I know you may say that is so old fashioned. I believe there was a purpose in wearing choir robes so no one stands out in manner of fashion dressing. In a choir robe it shows unity for all are dressed similar and praising/worshiping Jesus. No distraction or competition but all singing in unison to Jesus. Maybe that is the old fashioned side of me. When a church choir I was in stopped wearing choir robes it became more of a challenge to dress for the service. In my instance they would say this week we will be wearing a certain color as the theme that week and it changed week by week. I found it to be too cumbersome and having to think about putting an outfit together to coordinate with that weeks choir dress theme. See, a choir robe then also helps a sincere heart of a choir member that just not may have the color themed outfits to coordinate for that weeks color coordination that was selected. I have found that wearing a choir robe is also less distracting then having to look at what people are wearing rather than looking to Jesus with eyes closed in worship. I know that may be a bit quirky but this is how I feel about this.
I have a fond memory of Morris Cerullo preaching at a church I attended. I was in the choir and after praise/worship we would stay in the choir loft at times while the guest preacher was preaching. Morris addressed the choir and was facing us and he waved his hand/arm across the choir from one direction to the other. He did not lay hands on us just his gesture and the anointing of God and power of God came upon us and I remember falling back right there in the choir loft. The presence and power of God hit the choir so to speak. That was a great demonstration of God in my life. Prior to this actual experience I had seen this done but now I was actually a participant in this. Please know the power of God is real and authentic. Seek not the manifestation of God but the true lover of your soul, Jesus.
