Did You Ever Make A Eucalyptus Swag? I Did Years Ago & Made One Today. There Is Purpose In Making This.

Years ago one of my creative projects was to make the eucalyptus swag. I made them and gave them to family as my creative project that year. There is purpose behind making them. You gather fresh eucalyptus and then you take ribbon or yarn and you tie it around the stems and then make a loop that will be big enough to fit around the shower head in the shower. What happens is when the steam comes forth when taking a shower it releases the eucalyptus scent into the air. It is great for sinus clearing and things like that and it smells good too. I have found that you can usually get fresh eucalyptus at Trader Joe's. I actually found some at Whole Foods the other day. When fresh is not available I have also made them with the dried decorative (colored) eucalyptus you can find in a craft store also. This is an easy project that actually has purpose behind it. I encourage you to go and seek out fresh eucalyptus and then create. You will be glad you did, especially if you should wake up one morning with sinus congestion.
