Big Decision Before Me, Do I Want A Polaroid Camera Or A Sprocket? What Do You Think?

Well, I had fun the other day when someone I know had a Polaroid camera and took my picture. See, I was gifted with a Polaroid camera many years ago. I had a really nice baby shower for my first born child that was hosted by the people I worked with at the time (please know I had a really nice baby shower hosted by family also.) When I was pregnant a good friend of mine was also pregnant. So we both took charge of hosting each others baby showers with co-workers. We had our showers at a really nice restaurant and we had a male co-worker that attended. I think he attended her shower I know he attended mine. He was a genuine and true friend to both of us. He was married and already had children so who better to know of what would be a great shower gift right. The gift given to me was a Polaroid camera. I believe I upgraded eventually but I loved taking pictures with that camera.
So after having fun the other day when my picture was taken I thought to myself… great idea to present out there for my children as a possible Christmas gift for me. I was extremely blessed last year when they gifted me with DNA testing. My mother so often says that the younger generation take all these pictures but they are on their phones. What is going to happen to making photo albums? Who will put together family pictures if they are sitting inside of people's phones? From what I understand the sprocket actually develops pictures you take with your phone. Decisions, decisions. Do I want an Instamatic picture or the capability to print pictures from my phone. Some of my friends said that I should ask for both gifts but I am not a greedy person per say. Why over burden my children with this whimsical request when I would be most thankful for what they choose to bless me with this year.
I just did a google search and there is apparently a 2-in-1 smartphone printer and camera maybe that would be the way to go?
