I Did It

When I put something in my mind to complete I will rest only when it is accomplished. My latest task to be conquered was to make the horseradish sauce. I read about grating a fresh horseradish root on the Internet. The advice given was to grate it in a well ventilated room and to wear gloves when you grate it. The task was now at hand. I just love when the Holy Spirit gives me better ideas on how to go after something. The weather was beautiful the last few days. I was driving somewhere and I got the idea to grate the horseradish root in a very well ventilated room known as outside. That is exactly what I did. I brought everything outside and I did not need to wear gloves at all. I will tell you this it really is pungent and can be quite strong. I then mixed the rest of the ingredients and voila, I accomplished a task. One thing completed on my ongoing list of things I would like to do. Now, please do not think that this was some sort of a lifetime dream that I always wanted to do because it was not. When I see something and then I get the idea that I can create it I will go after it until it is done.
I have the perfect meal in the oven right now brisket of beef. I always remember the rule of thumb for cooking brisket...low and slow. This is a meal that the longer you have to let it cook on a low temperature in the oven the final result will be the most tender piece of meat. I cook mine with onion soup in which I grate a carrot into it. The carrot helps the natural juice thicken while it cooks. Sometimes I serve it with the natural juice and then other times I will make a gravy with the drippings. If I make a gravy I like to use Gravy Master. I made the horseradish sauce because I thought it would go well with the brisket. Like I said probably once before I really am a good cook. Tomorrows dinner will be delicious. I thought my son deserved a good home cooked meal when he comes home for a college break.
He and a friend stopped by yesterday. There is a friend of his at school that lives in the Akron area and she told him she was never on the west side of Cleveland. He decided to take her on a tour of the west side with the final destination being Vermilion.
OK , I got all of the light stuff out of the way. Now, onto the more serious stuff that is upon my heart today. Today in church it was a continuation in teaching us on Are We Living In The Last Days? This weeks lesson was on The Coming Judgment. It included the Seven Seal Judgments; Seven Trumpet Judgments; and the Seven Bowl Judgments. People that are reading and pondering about the things I write of I implore you to repent of your sins and ask Jesus into your heart. YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE LIVING ON THE EARTH WHEN ALL OF THIS STUFF HAPPENS. Change from your wicked ways and ask forgiveness of God and start living right before your family and God. If you do not know how to ask Jesus into your heart then I suggest you scroll upward to the top of this blog and read the comic book. Once you read it you will understand about salvation and there is a prayer at the end of the book. I am so confident that someone will read the book and accept Jesus into their heart that I will pray a prayer now for those that do. Lord Jesus I thank you in advance for those that will commit their hearts to You, a million thanks for salvation. Holy Spirit please seal the words that they speak when they invite Jesus into their heart. Become ever so real to them in their lives and teach them all of the wonderful things that you have taught me and then some throughout the years. I ask you to teach them much more rapid than the process is with me. Mine has been a gradual process in which I am continually learning and discovering different facets of the Holy Spirit. Let theirs be more expedient so to speak so they will not miss a beat of what you are doing on the earth right now. Amen.
When being taught on Seal 7, it introduces the seven trumpet judgments. The scripture verse was Revelation 8:1: "When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour." There was something he said that stayed with me a lot today. We have always been told and know heaven to be a place of worship on a continual basis right? I am a worshiper and that is probably why this touched my heart ever so. It must be something so very bad that it would cause heaven to be silenced for half an hour. Think about that, please. In all of Gods splendor and majesty and the beauty of heaven, where the saints live and worship our Lord and king it will become silent for a brief period of time. I implore you to choose life today in Jesus so you will not have to be on the earth to deal with all of this terrible, terrible, terrible stuff to come forth.
I love to worship the Lord and I can't even imagine what it will be like to not be able to worship Him for half an hour in heaven of all places.

I went to my favorite T.J. Maxx today and purchased a beautiful piece of jewelry from Israel. This particular artist creates with glass. I purchased the earrings a few days ago. I just love the color of blue that they are it is like robin egg blue. I found the necklace to go with the earrings. As I have mentioned before, I love making this trip to this store in Akron because I go past the rest area in which Jesus healed me one day in my car. He is a healer and creator of miracles. How can I not worship Him? My heart right now as I write is so filled with love that it brings tears to my eyes. Did you ever feel compelled to just fall to your knees and give thanks to God. You should try it. It may seem foreign to you at first but once you are postured on your knees the Lord sees your heart and how you approach Him with humbleness. I don't usually do this but for some reason or another I have done this twice now in the last few days. When I am on my knees all that comes forth is thanksgiving and gratitude for the love that He has shown me. Maybe this is why I am experiencing this and writing about it now because Thanksgiving is right around the corner. Be at peace with others and most importantly be at peace with yourself. Do not beat yourself up with thoughts of regret when you already asked forgiveness of Jesus for these things. Just move forward with a song of thanksgiving in your heart and it really is OK to make a joyful noise in the form of a song or two. It really does not matter if you do not have an opera voice sing anyway. God knows your heart and he doesn't hear the notes sung and condemn you that they are not perfect. What He really hears is the heart of the person and the words that come forth in the song. Thank God He's not only looking for perfected singing voices because I would not be on the "A" list so to speak. Well, I have to go now because the brisket is done now and I have to take it out of the oven. Good night or good day wherever you may be as you read this. Remember, in all things give thanks to God.
