Great Tip If You Deal With A HOA Taking Care Of Your Lawn. Tried It Out The Other Day. Time To Prepare Perennials For The Fall/Winter.

For some reason this thought came to me as I was about to start trimming back plants outside. I noticed the landscapers were just about to start doing yard work in my neighborhood. I had on my garden gloves and clipper in hand. I trimmed a few pieces and started to put them in a garbage type of bag. Then this idea flashed in my mind, and I followed through and guess what, it worked. I took the branch trimmings of my hibiscus plant out of the bag and just left them on the lawn. Wondering if the grass being cut will mulch them up when they cut the grass. I was taking a chance since I never walked this path before. I trimmed the hibiscus then onto the Hosta plant to trim it. They came and cut the grass and they cut right on top of my trimmed pieces. I was so elated and thankful because trimming back these types of plants can be awkward in their various sizes and sometimes a challenge to get them to fit into the garbage bag. I did not use a full-size garbage bag but just a grocery sized bag. There was no trace of the trimmings on the lawn.

I have to eventually trim back my honeysuckle plant and I just might wait until lawn trimming day and leave those branches for them to mulch up when they cut the grass. See, Holy Spirit can even give you an instant idea in the midst of doing your chores around the house, interior and exterior. Do you allow Him to give you God ideas to make life sweeter.
