I told you earlier today that I was going to go to Publix. I knew when I was going to go to walk there this morning and not drive there. I did. I arrived with my mask on my face when I entered the store. I approach the customer service desk to inquire. I asked what they do if a customer does not want to wear a mask while @ Publix. The response was they can do nothing. So I then asked if it was ok for me to wear it but take it down so I could breathe while there. No opposition to me at all. I did just that, it was technically on but I dropped it below my nostrils so I could breathe.
It pays to listen to Holy Spirit direction and let me show you an example that happened today ok. I knew what I needed and I got a shopping cart. I did not ask if it was already sanitized because I thought Publix was still doing that practice. Apparently not, I did not know that while I shopped for some reason I asked at the checkout and was surprised to find out they stopped that practice a few weeks ago. I responded to the clerk I would have sanitized it if I had known that. I went to find a sanitizer wipe to clean my hands as I exited the store and the sanitizers were stuck and not coming forth to use one. I then further inquired about the other entrance and if there were any there. I then went back into the store to the service desk and asked if they had a sanitizer to wipe my hands with. They kindly obliged my request. I suggested that the store should possibly post signs letting the consumer know they no longer sanitize the shopping carts.
Let's back this up a little bit if I may. I picked up a package of individually wrapped chicken breast portions, they are normally 9.99 a bag and I saw the sign stating they were 6.99 so I put a bag in my cart. I like to keep them in the freezer. I then pull out a few and marinate them and cook them in the air fryer. I save them to cut up on a salad. It is an easy meal to prepare. I thought to myself oh they must still be on sale from the last time I also purchased them at the reduced sale price. They ring them up and it is showing 9.99 and I let the person know they are on sale. She then sends the other clerk to check on the price. He does not come back so I go in search of him. He found them at a different location in the store then where I found mine. I then directed him to the section where I found mine and I suggested he also pull the sale tag to show the clerk the price listed. Sure enough they forgot to pull down the sale sign. I love this about Publix, if it rings up at a wrong price the item is then given to you for free. That is exactly what happened. Be a wise consumer ok.
