This is a song worthy of playing with two versions. This is how pronounced it is playing in my spirit today.
Do you have Jesus? Ask for Him to come into your heart and be the Lord of your life. There is no better and sweeter thing that I ever did in my life other than this. I asked Jesus into my heart/life and as the song says "You can have all this world but give me Jesus." Isn't this interesting...The very first words of the song..."In the morning when I rise give me Jesus." Maybe this is the song playing inside of me because you needed to hear this today and this is your day to ask for Jesus. I love Jesus and I love living a life with Him. Read my blog and you will see how that is evident in my life story, my life quilt that is woven with all the love, protection, wisdom as Jesus is interwoven in my life and interwoven in my life quilt. It is continually in the process of being created. Would you like to share this Jesus I know with you? Very simple, just repeat after me this very simple yet profound prayer and you will have Jesus in your life too. It is a gift freely given so no man shall boast about it. It is all about what Jesus did for you so you can be with him not only today and your lifetime but when you draw your last breath here on earth you will be with Him for ALL ETERNITY. Are you ready, Let's begin..."Thank you Jesus for dying on the cross and better yet You rose from the dead three days later. You are alive and I want You to come into my heart. Cleanse me and forgive me of all my sins, known and sins I do not even recall in this very moment. Cover them with the blood You shed on the cross just for me. This is odd, did someone else write more lyrics to this song? The words I kept hearing as if it was on "repeat" mode are "and when I am old give me Jesus." I could swear I heard those words sung before or why are they playing in my spirit? I guess it is just showing me there is no age limit to GIVE ME JESUS. I already published this blog but I felt prompted to add this last section for that truly is the set of words I heard playing in my spirit as I rose this morning.
