I Highly Recommend Seeing The Movie, "Heaven Is For Real." You Will Leave The Movie Feeling Uplifted.
I viewed the new movie, "Heaven Is For Real" and it truly does uplift your spirit. Let me warn you that if you have a tender heart you will be touched several times throughout the movie. I know, I had tears in my eyes several times throughout the movie. They are not tears brought by sadness, they are tears from the tenderness of the movie. Let me tell you that the innocence of this child sharing bits and pieces throughout the movie of what happened and what he saw in heaven just simply warms your heart. For a believer in Jesus it just encourages you more to move on with what you are called to do in your life so when you do go to heaven it will be so much more glorious. Isn't it amazing how God worked through a child to share this tender story with the world. In the movie they do show of the young girl (at the time) that also had an experience in heaven and she lived far away from the main character in this movie. This young lady was used in the realm of painting what she saw in heaven. When Colton was asked what Jesus looked like and he was shown pictures he would say no to the various pictures we find in books. In a chance look at one of her paintings without being solicited he told his father that that picture he saw was what he saw Jesus in heaven. Oh how God surely does use the innocence of children to share His message. That touches my heart even more than the movie and the painting also.
No matter what your age is you will enjoy this movie. I had no idea how this family was ridiculed by others also when they began to share their sons story about heaven. I would guess that comes from ignorance. I am so glad they persevered and shared their story. I read the book and when I discovered he also came out with a book written and geared towards children I also purchased that book and shared that book with a former neighbor. That neighbor told me that their twin died and they had questions about heaven so I thought that book would possibly answer some of their questions.
With this being the Easter season right around the corner why not go and take your family to see this movie.
