God Is FAITHFUL. He Spoke To My Heart That I Would Arrive Safely Home This Evening. I DID just That.

I was in rush hour traffic this evening heading out from a major metropolitan area. I was miles away from home on a major highway and I still needed to connect to another highway that would lead me home. My engine light would come on and when that would happen and I acellerated while driving my car it would feel like it would not go beyond 57-60+ mph and it felt like it would vibrate and then I would pull back and ease up on the accelerator pedal and it would be fine and then I would have to feed it gas again and the engine light would come on again and the vibration would happen again. When this first started I heard words ever so soft spoken to my spirit that I would get home safely. I know it was God letting me know not to worry and I would be fine.
Each time that engine light went on I just kept hanging onto those words spoken to me earlier and kept on driving. Another important factor was this, I had a certain praise song playing on "repeat" and I would focus on the words of praise to Yahweh that were part of the song. A song by August Rain called "We Praise You." Thank God I was past the major traffic area on the highway where it seems to be that all the people come together at one point and feed into the highway to get to where they need to go. I was beyond the stop and go portion of traffic. The next phase was then getting off of the highway and making it home safely when my exit approached. I did just that. All I can say is thawnk you Holy Spirit for directing me and letting me know not to worry for I would arrive home safely.
God is good all of the time and all of the time He truly is good and FAITHFUL too.
Another thought about billboards. I wrote about 3 great billboards that capture my attention while driving on the highway. I also observed this...the really good billboards tend to be on the major highways heading toward a major metropolitan area and the same quality of billboards you do not see when you are heading away from the city. Why is that? I would think that the same audience that sees those billboards in the morning would benefit to see them twice a day instead of just once a day. The more you keep those really good billboards in front of them would cause them to want to a part of that advertisement. Billboard sales rep.'s why not try to convince your clients to capture the audience not just heading to work but also heading home from work. Think about it. The billboard they see heading home from work would stay fresher in their mind than the morning one because their day is not filled with work but their evening allows them to ponder a bit more on the visual billboard they just saw while driving home. Does that make sense to you? It is not fair that we get to see the good billboards heading in one direction and it is as though they do not think they are just as important heading away from the metropolitan area. Those are just my thoughts and observations in regard to billboards.
