August 18th Is The Day That God Called Me Forth To Breathe My First Breath Of Life Outside My Mother's Womb

Something wonderful happened on August 18th. That was the day that I was called forth into the world to breathe my first breath of life outside of my mother's womb. I was welcomed into the world by the destiny that God set aside just for me to fulfill in my life. As you probably have figured out by now I love to read. Being a reader, sometime's I like to jump ahead and read a chapter or so randomly in a book I am reading. Sometimes there is knowledge in that chapter that you may not get to until the future. Well, today may be the day I need the information in that very chapter right?
I jumped ahead on reading my daily devotional and read several days in advance a few days ago. I liked what I was to read on August 18th. I liked it so much that I am going to share it with all of you. May you be blessed in the reading of this also along with me. Taken from "Connect With God Vol II" by Jentezen Franklin:

"DON'T MISS WHAT GOD'S GOT FOR YOU1
Let him...on the housetop not come down to take anything out of his house.
Matthew 24:17
The bible uses words like straightway, immediately and suddenly, to remind us that when God moves, He does it quickly. He doesn't announce it with trumpets and fanfare, so you need to stay prepared; especially for something you've been waiting for a long time. God actually moves so quickly that one day you'll feel like you're going through hell, and the next like you're seated in heavenly places. And in both instances it's "God which worketh in you" (Php2:13).
Stay alert! You may be just a moment away from the answer you've been seeking. That's all the time it takes for God to change things. Don't let procrastination steal your opportunity. Listen, "Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take anything out of his house" (Mt 24:17). You've got to decide if you're going to to with what God has for you now, or return to the house-because your unfinished business can cause you to miss it.
Others may also cause you to miss your opportunity. A sick man missed his healing for thirty-eight years because he waited for others to act. He said, "I have no one to help" (Jn 5:7 NLT). For years he sat beside the solution, but others caused him to miss it.
Nothing is more important than what God wants to say to you and do for you today; not what's going on in your house; not the opinions of others. All that matters is being ready to receive what He has for you!"
