Belgian Waffles Are So Delicious

I have to share this with you. Belgian waffles are so delicious and quite easy to make. I use the mix made for this by a company called Krusteaz. I add to the batter either vanilla, natural orange oil or almond extract. I stumbled upon a great rotary Belgian waffle maker that is so reasonably priced you just won't believe it. How can you beat the price of $24.99? I have been pricing this type of waffle maker for over a year now and there is no need to spend big bucks on a waffle maker when you can probably pick one up just around the corner from where you live or within proximity of where you live. Are you curious as to where you can purchase this? At CVS stores.

When making a few at a time to serve for breakfast put your oven on low and keep them warm in the oven. I will make up a batch and then freeze them in a freezer bag. I pull one out when needed and pop into the toaster on defrost and warm it up. I use to enjoy them with butter and warm praline syrup (which you can purchase a variety of flavors of syrup at T.J. Maxx, Marshall's, or even Big Lots.) I let that go to the wayside and now enjoy them with a light dusting of powdered sugar.  Even better yet, flavor with the orange oil and then serve with apricot preserves, delicious! Just remember to not consume them if you are in a business suit or have your favorite tie on because powdered sugar is not a good accessory to your attire. Powdered sugar can be hard to brush off. You do not want to walk into that important business meeting and the first thing they notice about you is powdered sugar, you want them to notice your warm smile along with that great, firm handshake Right?

A hint to bed-n-breakfasts, a Belgian waffle would be a great addition to your breakfast menu if you are not already offering that to your guests. How can you go wrong with the value in this waffle maker? You can't. May you have many happy days ahead of you making Belgian waffles.
