In this day and age in which we live in there are trappings out there for single, Christian men to be cautious of. You become lonely at times and you think it is OK to share your thoughts and ideas with a woman especially if she is married. For some reason a man thinks it is safe because she is married. It is no threat to him since she is married and she will not seek after him as a mate. Don't fall for the seemingly innocent lure of a Christian, married woman also. Satan uses these type of situations as a set up for you to eventually cross the line of so called friendship and you find yourself involved in something you never intended to happen. I would caution you to start asking pertinent questions. The first thought that would come to my mind is why is this woman sharing things with you if she is married. Shouldn't those conversations be kept between a husband and wife? If you start asking the right questions you will get the right answers. Don't be afraid to be blunt and ask them if they have a sound marriage. If they are a true Christian and they do not, I would hope that they would tell you their marriage is in trouble. Even expect this Christian woman to lie to you and tell you it is a great marriage when in fact it is deeply troubled. That is when you have to TRUST the Holy Spirit to give you divine revelation and your discernment of spirits will let you know. For those that do not know of the term discerning of spirits I will put it this way, your gut instinct will let you know.
When a friendship starts between a single man and a married woman and you find yourself sharing with her more than you would even share with your current girlfriend that is the warning sign, red flag going up. If I were a gambling person (which I am not) I would bet and wager it all that she is in a troubled marriage. Don't try to be the psychologist or counselor you need to turn around and run from that situation. It truly could have started out innocently but when a woman is in a bad marriage she begins to start thinking other thoughts about this man that is being nice to her and paying attention to her. In her mind she begins to create the idea that one day her marriage will end and then the two of them will live happily ever after. The biggest falsehood in the story is that she actually begins to think this is of God because the man she befriended is Christian.
A woman that is in trouble will gravitate to a man that is willing to pay attention to her because it is so badly lacking in her marriage. Especially to a man that has a kind heart and is empathetic and has a nurturing personality. In those situations it is best to just break free from it because you will be held accountable to God if your friendship helped to solidify the break up of her marriage. Run. Run. Run far from her. Your next step is to then close any ungodly doors that have been opened up by this and ask God for forgiveness. You then need to break any ungodly soul ties with this person and draw a Jesus Christ bloodline between you and her and her and you. Is the temporary comfort of a woman really worth you arriving in heaven and you stand before Jesus and He cannot tell you those words you longed to hear "Well done good and faithful one enter in?'
Just because I used a single, Christian man as the example please do not preclude that this warning is not for a single, Christian woman also. I am going to include in this blog a writing that indirectly addresses this concept:
On 5/20/00 @ 11:30PM the Lord revealed to me what the letters in pride stand for:
Prancing
Right
Into
Destructive
Exile
As the Lord directed me to Job 41 this day the Lord is asking Job if he can conquer Leviathan. In Job 41:22 I have two different versions of this line: In God’s Word Bible it reads “Strength resides in its neck, and power dances in front of it.” In the NKJ Bible it reads “Strength dwells in its neck, and sorrow dances before him.”
In both versions 2 things dance before Leviathan, power & sorrow. To prance means “to move about in a lively manner, to strut.” Others words to describe prance in the Thesaurus are: dance, cavort, frolic, romp, and caper.
As we go to Job 41:34 there are also two different versions: in God’s Word Bible it reads “It looks down on all high things. It is king of everyone who is arrogant.” In the NKJ Bible it reads “He is king over all of the children of pride.”
The Leviathan not only controls those that are prideful-it feeds on the very pride that it controls saith the Lord. As you prance before it-it is a dance done in arrogance. One that dances before Leviathan in this manner is one that believes that they have control and power. The very power they deceive themselves with thinking they have is the lure that reels them into destructive exile.
As you delve into My word know that there is even a stronger power over the Leviathan. In Hebrews 4:12 it reads “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” As Leviathan, better known as “pride” lure’s you into captivity-the power over Leviathan is the word of God-it is as if a sharp sword is used to decapitate a person-so also is the word of God-it decapitates Leviathan and in doing so-it’s power & strength is then cut off-for its strength is in it’s neck-which is removed when it is be-headed. Leviathan will reel you right into his trap with all of the trimmings & puffing up of oneself that man does. He is sneaky and cunning & when you are taken down by your pride and arrogance-it is too late-you’ve already been trapped into the large mouth & sharp teeth of the crocodile-a grip that is not easy to break away from & set you free-to live a life that is abundant in Christ. Be cautious My people saith the Lord-for even the “holy” are walking that thin line where in a moments time the teeth of Leviathan are in place to trap you. Go forth in My word saith the Lord and not only set yourself free-but speak the truth and set My people free. Set the captives free saith the Lord. Walk in the dominion I gave you SET MY PEOPLE FREE saith the Lord of Hosts.
