Is It Just Me Or Are You Noticing So Many More Foods Being Recalled Then Ever Before?

I noticed this in the last few months that more and more food items are being recalled due to this and that wrong with them. What is that all about. Never do I recall the numerous recalls almost it is like it is on a daily list. Who is doing the regulating of food items nowadays?  What is going on with a certain brand @ the deli counter? Thank God I don't eat deli type of meat anymore. They were supposed to be the Cadillac per say of deli meats especially what they charge per pound for their products. I remember when Ingles Grocery Stores did not have that deli meat in their cases and had another name brand at a much better price point and then they caved in and allowed that company into their deli department. Someone needs to do quality control at these businesses before things are released to the general public with the chance of becoming sick from eating the list of foods being recalled.

Please be mindful and truly produce exceptional foods so we don't have to worry about trying to remember if what we ingested was then found on some list. This is America and we deserve something better than always having to watch the lists of recalled foods. Here is an idea. Temporarily shut down the companies that seem to be showing up on these lists frequently and just maybe they will get the hint and start being more responsible with what they are producing and releasing to the general public to purchase and consume.
