I was at Mashall's shopping yesterday afternoon. I was at the register, and I remembered I placed a nail polish I bought on another day that didn't match an outfit quite good, so I kept it in my purse with the receipt to return it. As I am being checked out, I remembered to search my purse for the nail polish and receipt to apply towards yesterday's purchase. As I was looking in my purse, I was so surprised to see what was sitting at the bottom of my purse. Oh, my goodness, there sat my black onyx ring I thought I threw away by accident last Saturday. I exclaimed to the clerk I just found a ring I thought I lost last weekend. Amazing for I truly do not know how that ring got in my purse. I do not recall at all even taking it off last Saturday. When I got in my car, I then placed it on my finger. First the left hand, then after looking at it closely again and noticing there really are 2 pieces of marcasite still missing from the ring, I then placed it on my right hand and wore it until I arrive home. I then safely removed the ring and placed it somewhere safe.
Is God not totally amazing.
In further looking at the ring with a magnify glass, I noticed not just the 2 pieces of marcasite missing in the main portion of the ring, but 1 piece is missing and must have fallen out throughout the years on the 1 side of the shank of the ring. I do recall and should know better that marcasite is a pretty delicate stone in 1 respect, it can become loose if in water. For goodness's sake, yes, I do wear my rings when washing my hands so I should have known better to take off that particular ring with marcasite surrounding the black onyx when placing my hands either in water or near water when wearing that ring.
To God be the GLORY.
