I stumbled upon a different video on the YouTube television channel (unsubscribed version that is.) I take a break from news per say and ministry videos at times and with doing so I discovered that there are people out there blessing others. I watched a video of a couple that lives in TN, and they do videos of their travels. They go to many local establishments in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge/Sevierville areas and then venture out on the road. What I like about this couple is they are a down to earth type of couple that share in their own way and style about places they take you via their video camera. I recently began seeing people that spoof and mock this couple's videos somehow begin to appear as suggestions when searching for updated videos. It just is plain not nice and in poor taste to be mocking someone or doing a spoof on them. All I can think, or wonder is their lives must be pretty empty/shallow or just plain miserable that they have to resort to making fun of others. If I can be candid with you, I believe they are jealous of someone getting the number of views of their videos and are taking advantage of people accidentally clicking on their making fun of videos. You know, you may be trying to build up your own platform of viewers at the expense of another by mocking them. Guess what, that does not work and quite frankly what you are trying to do is a lame example of what not to do with videos.
Making fun or people throughout the ages has never been the cool thing to do. It is letting others into an insight that just maybe your life is somewhat miserable that you take to making fun of others. Poor manners and quite honestly it is not the right thing to do. Stop it now because God has an eye on this and one day you will stand before Him believer in Jesus or not and have to account for your actions in life. No one will be there to defend you it will be you standing alone before Him and explaining why you chose to use mockery to attempt to hurt another. Isn't there something in your life that you can be thankful for and just call it a day. Take that negativity and turn it around and you just might find yourself being happy sharing the good things in your life as opposed to making fun of good people. Why waste talent on tearing down others. Again, I am saying mocking others never is in style, it never was and never will be so just stop it now. I recently viewed a video of theirs when Will takes you back to where he grew up in Michigan and let me propose this question to the mockers/scoffers, did you purchase your first home at the age of 19 years old? Will did so just leave them alone. It is refreshing to see unpretentious people out there sharing to bless others. There is no smut in their videos and foul language used and they always close a video saying that they love you. I think that is quite endearing and lets me see places to know I now have no interest in staying somewhere or maybe want to go somewhere because they are showing you a place with no pretense. One of those places is staying at The Grand Hotel on Mackinaw Island. I did not think it was anything spectacular per say but everyone seems to want to go and stay there.
That reminds me of the time my husband and I stayed at the Waldorf Astoria in NYC. Quite honestly, the atrium and lobby were nice, but I thought the room we stayed in was sort of dumpy. I would not stay there again unless they had a spectacular renovation done since then in the 90's. Oh they did have good rice pudding in a little cafe they had on site. Now, I do like staying at Ritz Carlton's and the Four Seasons in Georgetown are lovely establishments. I tend to like staying at bed n breakfast establishments and I have found I enjoy staying at Super Host Airbnb's too. How come when I search out bed n breakfasts anymore it seems to be there are less of them to choose from? I guess people are taking more to the Airbnb route. Bring back quaint bed n breakfasts for the traveler that enjoys a warm and comfortable stay along with a great breakfast to greet you each morning. There just is something endearing about them, there really is. Hey "yankeeinthesouth" can you take us on some bed n breakfast adventures in your travels?
Simple closing reminder, it is never in good taste and in fashion to mock others, it just is not. Here is an example of a video where He takes you back to where he grew up in Michigan. I would guess this avenue is kind of like me taking you on my adventures but minus the video camera.
