It is Just Before 6:00AM & I Already Had My Jesus Time (communing with Him that is) & Finished My Ironing I Had To Do

Early riser this morning I am. I love it in one respect that I have a jump start on the day before the sun even rises in the sky. That is my sweet time I spend with Jesus. He talks with me and shares with me and led me to scripture to read for today. I had notes in the margin in which I did a search on the meaning of the palm trees. No, I cannot share that with you today because there comes a time when you have to do word searches to discover what Holy Spirit is speaking to you. I do not want to deprive you of that experience and intimate time with the Lord ok.

I then quietly got up and set up the ironing board and did the laundry that needed to be ironed. I am so thankful for spray starch because it truly does make a smooth surface when ironing linen clothing. I like the smooth, crisp look when wearing linen clothing. Made a fresh pot of coffee and I am enjoying a cup while I am sharing with you.

My daughter sent me a few pictures last evening of costumes she found on sale for the bunnies. Bun Bun is dressed as an astronaut and Mrs. Honeybun as a mermaid. She asked me to mention that she did not make them wear it for a long period of time but she only had them wear them long enough to take a picture. Aren't they adorable. My daughter and son are both very caring/loving when it comes to their pets. They truly look after them. Katie told me the other day how Mrs. Honeybun lost a nail on her one paw and she puts Neosporin on it to make sure she doesn't get an infection. Isn't that sweet and loving.

My friends did not make it last night for Summerfest for Jesus but I did. I do not need anyone accompanying me in order for me to go somewhere. I let go of that bondage years ago. I travel with Holy Spirit and He even shows me great places to sit too. Last night I saw a few people that placed their chairs on the pavement section in the parking lot. I liked that idea and followed that. Great seat with a good view of one of the screens also. Pastor Jackson preached a great word last night and at the close he had us do an exercise. In keeping with social distancing protocol we were to turn to a few people around us and share what we were thankful/grateful for. There were 3 of us in our group and we shared our first names also. I was not shy and I shared first of how I was led within a matter of days to my new residence. They also shared too. What a great way to start off the worship concert portion of the evening.

Up first was Danny Gokey to be followed by Mack Powell. I enjoyed Danny but my heart really attached to Mack's worship. Enough so that when his counterpart sang "Amazing Grace" I brought out my little wooden shaker percussion instrument. Right hand playing the instrument with my left hand in the air praising Jesus while I sang too. See, I will always be drawn to worship leader worship for some reason. Do you think it is because I am a worshiper, of course it is. Did you know Mack is now a worship leader at a church in Atlanta? I may have to make a mental note of that and visit that church the next time I am in Atlanta. I beleive he brought with him some of their worship team. I know I was truly blessed by both but they also have different styles and that is ok. Sometimes you connect with one style of worship and then you really connect with another style of worship. Neither one is greater than the other and both love Jesus and lift up the name of Jesus and worship. Aren't we all called to that in our very lives? Yes we are and never stop worshipping Jesus.
