I Have So Much To Share, So Much. Guess What I Saw Flying Right Before Me Today? Bald Eagle. Yay Yay Yay.

I knew exactly where to go to see eagles fly today. I have had very full days the last few days. I will share more in the next few days ahead. Literally down the street from where I used to live was a country road. There is a farm along that road and the farmer grew corn and wheat on both sides of the road. The best part of this road is a house that has tall trees on their property. Well, years ago bald eagles built their nest in one of the trees. This time of the year when all the leaves are off of the trees it is easier to spot the tree where the nest is located.
I drove down that road and parked my car and began to look for bald eagles. I look at a tree and perched on it near the top a bald eagle. Then I look to the right of that tree and another bald eagle. I just wonder if they are the same eagles I used to see years ago. It was almost as a welcome home to me with them being perched in each tree. Then the moment came the one remained in their tree and the other one flew out of the tree and then to the farmland ground then back up again into the tree. I tried to take a picture of it but I missed capturing it in flight. So I am looking and trying to take pictures of them in the 2 different trees and once again in front of me the same eagle leaves the tree swoops down and then flies upward to the eagles nest in another tree. Do you think God had anything to do with this experience just for me? Yes He did.
I got up early today and did a bit of tidying up at my daughters apartment. You know moms tend to do this when they visit right. It is kind of funny my daughter has one of those security cameras and she knew I had things to do today and she said she saw me sweeping around 11am today. I was. I also took the liberty to run the vacuum also. I did these things prior to getting ready to go off and spend the day doing what had to be completed.
First stop the Vermilion Farm Market. I purchased what I needed. I was on a mission. I found out my daughters bunnies like green vegetables and she told me a few of them they like. They also like bananas. I bought them kale, spinach, cilantro and bananas. They had a plate of it this evening and they were in the clean plate club. I also brought them some fruit flavored sour golden raisins they ate one each and liked it. I guess one golden raisin is equivalent to 1 grape so you cannot overdo it with the sugar stuff. My daughter hung up their Christmas stockings I personalized for them. I am not a grandmother to pets though. I do draw a line. I said I would be a Nana to human grandchildren. I think my children's pets are adorable. Both of my children nurture and take very good care of their pets.
After The Vermilion Farm Market I went in search of a sailboat sun catcher. In a quaint boating community did you think I could find one. No. the local establishment when I lived there used to have sun catchers in the storefront window. No more, the owner said he has to find a new distributor. It was suggested to go to another store down the street. From there I went to an artists storefront. This is interesting, the building actually used to be the train depot many years ago. I really did live in a quaint boating community. Did you know that the current comfort station used to be the jail many, many years ago? It did. The local ice cream parlor used to be the funeral parlor too. I noticed they no longer do this in the downtown area. They used to have Clydesdale horses pulling a cover wagon that had benches to sit on inside and they would give you a tour of the historic sites in this town. That is how I know about the comfort station and the funeral parlor. They no longer do this, so sad to hear this. When I was in the artist store I did find 2 hand painted note cards of a bunny on each one. One looks like Mrs. Honeybun and the other like Bun Bun. I gave them to my daughter and she said she was going to frame them. See, I love these adventures Holy Spirit takes me on do you? As I was conversing with the 2 ladies in the store I got sentimental and shared with them that my children and I moved to Vermilion after my divorce and that is where we regrouped and found restoration.
I stopped in the local family chocolate store to see if they had sun catchers none. Oh my gosh their candy is $21 something a pound wow.
Next stop, the perfect place to leave my "kindness" painted stone. Oh I did drive to the main street beach to capture a picture of the Maritime Museum and the lighthouse. I went to another park where I used to write a lot when I lived there. I did not go down to the beach, there was a tree stump right in front of me so I placed the stone there as Holy Spirit inspired me to do so.
Off in search of the bald eagles next stop. I went past a place we used to live and I planted the hydrangea plants in the landscape and I just had to take a picture because they truly did grow throughout the years. That made my heart happy to know that my gardening still remains and another family gets to enjoy the beauty when they bloom. I do miss not having space to plant, nurture and watch the plants grow. One day, one day again I will and I am ok in the mean time .
I already shared with you that I saw the bald eagles so after that then onto seeing my spiritual mom. we had a great visit and the first thing when I entered her home was we hugged each other and I said how I miss just stopping over to visit with her and her husband and talk. See, when God places special spiritual people in your life there is that bond that remains no matter the distance in miles if you should move.
Will try to share pictures I took in the next few days on this journey.
