Awesome Day At Marketplace Ministry Today And Guess What? My Son Contacted Me Today, He Adopted A New Cat. God Truly Does Redeem The Time Doesn't He?

What an awesome day I had today in a matter of less than 24 hours my tears became joy. I cannot explain this but what happens on a Sunday when I am ministering at marketplace ministry … it goes like this. When I walk through the doors it is as though a light (we know what light that is right, it is the light of Jesus) shines forth. It even starts at times as I am walking to the entrance. I greet customers with a Good Morning. This is even before I sign in for the day. I was able to share words with a few people that I saw from church. One person that I shared with came to see me later and they shared with me that they followed through with what I was encouraging this person about.
I talked with a customer that told me a great recipe on how to make steak in my electric pressure cooker. You see, people have a story to tell and if you give them the chance they share it with you, they truly do.
I also found a beautiful quilt set that was just what I needed. A new chapter in my life deserves a new quilt set also. I love ruana's and I wear them as a jacket during the winter. I have a collection of them to match various outfits I wear. You see, I tend to stick with certain colors and so that is why a lot of my wardrobe matches pieces I buy. I have found that you tend to purchase items that you are naturally drawn to and most likely those are the colors that work well for you. I also listen to compliments, a compliment will let you know what style and colors work for you.
Well, I was blessed today because I did what I love doing. I just love giving samples out to customers. I often say that I missed my calling I should have been a sample person isn't that funny. I love to engage the customer and it comes natural to me. Today I sampled autumn taffy. You may say what is that? There were three flavors of taffy: candy corn, pumpkin pie with whipped cream and caramel apple. Yep those were the three choices in the bag of taffy. I also sampled sour pumpkins. This one baffles me. The only thing that equates it to the title is it is in the shape of a pumpkin. Now let me tell you about this product. I explain it like this to a customer. Once you get past the initial sour taste you then taste the flavor of a fresh orange. Not a yucky tasting orange (because not all oranges taste the same.) Did you ever bite a piece of an orange and discover it was a not so good tasting orange? That is what I am talking about. Imagine the orange flavor of an orange that tastes good.
I heard from my son and he adopted a new cat today. See God takes your mourning and turns it into dancing. Did you have an awesome day today? I worked a little bit more on my new praise tool I am creating. I will just know when it is finished. That is how Holy Spirit speaks to me. Trust in the Lord because sometimes that is all you can do is trust in Him. He is faithful, true, and greatly to be praised. I listened to a Rita Springer song today and you know what happened right? A few times the GLORY word welled up inside of me and out comes forth the glory shout. I love the presence of God I truly do.
