I Listen To News/Talk Radio On Occasion, Very Interesting What You Hear.

I listen to news talk radio on occasion and it is amazing what one hears just by listening. It truly is. After hearing about this a few times it compelled me to actually look up two different websites to see what they were talking about. Let me share with you the two websites and what they are all about. dontfundit.com when you go to this site it states it is an official petition to defund Obamacare. So far 442,602 signatures have signed this petition.

"On October 1st, millions of Americans will be required to enroll in Obamacare and could lose access to their doctors and be forced to pay higher premiums and higher taxes. But there's still time to stop it. Republicans in Congress can stop Obamacare if they refuse to fund it.

There is a Senate Republican Whip List
"Tell Republicans to sign Senator Mike Lee's letter pledging to OPPOSE all funding for Obamacare in 2014." (taken from website.) It lists all the Senators from each state and where they stand on this. Shows if they won't pledge, pledged or a question mark will appear.

Further down on the page:

It lists the state and if they have signed or have not signed the pledge. This is what the pledge states if they did sign it  or did not sign it.

Website number two is hitmwithheat.com When you go to this website it shows that so far 9761 votes have been cast so far with final vote breakdown being shown 11/5/13. The votes cast on this website are to replace the tax code and don't overhaul it. You are able to vote (for one of three plans) Pick-A-Tax-Plan. There are three different choices to choose from. You can go into each one to see what it is all about then you decide which one would best fit what you are looking for. The tax plan choices are:  Fair Tax
New Flat Tax
999 Plan
I think after a certain date they will tabulate the votes and then narrow it down to two plans to then vote on. I think this website is all about letting the people choose what they want and then presenting the results to those that were elected by the people to let them know what the people want.

You just never know what you will find when you listen to talk radio. Quite honestly I must admit to you that I do prefer to listen to praise/worship music over talk radio. There is too much jibber jabber on talk radio and I enjoy listening to music that lifts up the name of Jesus. I guess talk radio is out there to inform people or give them a voice to be heard when they call in with comments right.

Proverbs 31: 8-9 states, "Speak out for the one who cannot speak, for the rights of those who are doomed. Speak out, judge fairly, and defend the rights of oppressed and needy people." 

In my bible the caption in this chapter is titled "Advice To A Prince." I find that so interesting that this is written just before the famous Proverb's 31 Wife description. Let me share with you my favorite verses from that scripture too. Proverbs 31: 10-12 "Who can find a wife with a strong character? She is worth far more than jewels. Her husband trusts her with all his heart, and he does not lack anything good. She helps him and never harms him all the days of her life." Proverbs 31: 28-29 "Her children and her husband stand up and bless her. In addition, he sings her praises, by saying, 'Many women have done noble work, but you have surpassed them all!"
