As I am sharing this with you all I remember receiving their letter in the mail. I sat on the outside steps and read the letter. It touched my heart at the right time when I needed it. This particular journal entry I wrote in purple ink. I do like using colored ink pens when I write. But my favorite color ink to use at work is a blue ink pen. I like the smooth writing ones not the cheapo ones that leave blots of ink as you write. This is the draft I sent back to them after receiving their letter sent to me.
"Blessings Jan & Paul,
Thank you for the letter of "good news" that you sent to me in the Summer. As I opened the letter & read the contents-I began to cry. God is faithful and His love is incredible. Know that I did not know I was sending you a word of victory for the church when I sent in a pledge along with the writing the Lord gave to me. I heard the Holy Spirit speak to me to send both together. I did it in obedience & thought nothing of it. I began to cry when I read the letter - it happened to come on that special day when I needed it. Thank you. As I read the letter and you asked to send any other thoughts or insight to your private post office box-the enclosed writing is what leaped within my spirit. The Lord had directed me to share it with 2 local pastors. I did. I now share this with you-I know not why-but I send it in obedience. May you be blessed more & more & more."
I then sent a letter to my pastor and shared with him about this experience. I recall the writing I shared that I made mention of. I shared that writing before on this blog it deals big time with PRIDE.
Prancing Right Into Destructive Exile. It is that writing that is located somewhere on this blog.
