I love the mountain expereinces I have had and continue to have in both Georgia & Tennessee. Ohio is pretty much flat land especially if you drive from northeast Ohio to a state like Georgia. I remember making those trips and how long it seems to be the drive to the Kentucky border. Lots of farm land but really no mountains.
I can drive currently and see mountains somewhen in the distance when I drive. That is what I love, the scenic drives I can take. I am not too pleased with the greenway project in which they are building residential homes. So terrible what they are doing to make a buck or two. Tearing down God's beautiful nature and bulldozing the trees to build. Is there ever any reasoning in which man per say is not out to make money but leave the God given natural reserve beauty in tact. Do you know what it is like seeing all this bulldozed when just a few weeks ago it was lush and green. Makes no sense to decompose what was natural beauty to let people with nice finances purchase homes, make no sense a tall. Oh well all I can do is express my disdain with this move. I know people in local raeas tried to fight this and did not want it to happen. Why does it seem like someone or a group has a stronger say so then the people that already live in the neighborhood. Just is not right, not right at all.
