Guess What I Have Been Up To?

I am in a creative mode and I love to create when I am in this place. I have made bracelets, scarves and a cake. I saw recently, Duncan Hines makes a Pink Velvet cake mix so of course I wanted to try it out. I baked it this morning and then I was in search of a good cream cheese butter cream frosting so it would hold its shape when I decorate the cake. I actually found a professional cream cheese butter cream frosting that not only decorates nicely but the frosting holds it shape also. I just do not like when you make a butter cream frosting and it does not hold its shape once you frost the cake. Do you know what I am referring to? The kind of frosting that once you frost the cake you have to refrigerate it right away so it holds its shape and doesn't get gooey.

Lexus I Am Greatly Disappointed In Your Current TV Ad Running For The Lexus RC F. Why Would You Lower Your Reputation To Bring The Lexus Brand To The Level Of The Gutter Or Close To That?

I have shared with you several times how I enjoy billboard advertisement for Lexus. They seem to draw the consumer in with their advertisement. I cannot applaud your recent television commercial for the Lexus RC F. I was going to post the video clip from You Tube on my blog today but with further examination of the ad I cannot support the things you reference in this advertisement. Why did you drastically change your ad campaign? Do you really think that bringing garbage talk into your campaign will draw the consumer? If you do think this then our world is in much more serious trouble than I ever thought. Is that what people are drawn to? In reviewing your commercial, these are some of the key catch phrase words you are using, "Lust, Wrath, Envy, and Pride." Why would anyone want to purchase a car that would cause one to think that is the image in their mind of what they can operate in while driving this vehicle? I still believe that America is good. I choose to believe that America is loving; slow to anger; content, kind & trusting; and humble/humility. All descriptions of the exact opposite used in your words in the campaign.
I once received while writing one day an inspiration from Holy Spirit talking about pride. Pride can be a major downfall in a person's life. Pride can cause the downward spiral in your life. Pride is not a blessing in life but it is something that one should refrain from and not cultivate in your life. This is what I was shown the word pride stands for:
Prancing
Right
Into
Destructive
Exile
I must also admit that I do not particularly care for the design/look of this vehicle either. So sorry to share this with you but I guess I have a sentimental heart and things that touch the heart may tend to draw me into the advertisement. With that type of approach it may cause me to at least consider looking at the product from the time and care that went into the advertisement. I have to let you know that this current advertisement is strong and almost looks like there is a dark side to it, was that your intention? If that was your intention then you must be changing things at Lexus. On the flip side, one of my all time favorite advertisements of Lexus is (when you were innovative way back when and started advertising) the big bow on the vehicles. To me that advertisement campaign is endearing.

Hell Is For Real, Why Would You Want To Even Consider Going There?

I had a conversation with someone recently and what they shared with me troubled my spirit. It caused me to go and search for a book I read years ago and have re-read it also on another occasion. It is called, "A Divine Revelation of Hell Time Is Running Out" by Mary K. Baxter. I read sections of it today and as I was reading Holy Spirit reminded me of what happened to me years ago when I was in a time of prayer. As I am about to write this tears fill my eyes because what I experienced was very real and it was as if it happened to me today it is that fresh in my memory. It always amazes me how Holy Spirit causes one to bring forth remembrance of an incident when He reminds you of something. I was in prayer one day years ago and the only way I can describe what happened is it was as if the carpeting in my room was pulled to the side and the floor opened up for me to hear something. I heard the most awful screams of pain and suffering in my room. I never have heard anything like that before in my life. I was allowed to catch a glimpse of those that suffer in hell via sound. It was awful and I do believe that is when Holy Spirit placed a strong desire in my heart to reach out to the lost. He placed this within me to evangelize those that are about to give their heart to Jesus.
It was today when I was reading sections of the book that it all clicked into place. It was a long time ago when I had that experience and as I was reading, it was revealed to me what the screams were that I heard that day. When the jaws of hell are opened up to receive new people into hell those are the screams I heard when the mouth of hell is opened. Let me share an excerpt from the book: page 179-180 "As we walked, we stopped on a hill overlooking a small valley. As far as I could see there were piles of human souls lining the sides of this hill. I could hear their cries. Loud noises filled the place. Jesus said, "My child, this is the jaws of hell. Every time the mouth of hell is opened, you will hear that loud noise." The souls were trying to get out but could not, for they were embedded in the sides of hell.As Jesus spoke, I saw many dark forms falling down past us and landing with a thud at the bottom of the hill. Demons with great chains were dragging souls away. Jesus said, "Those are the souls that have just died on earth and are arriving in hell. This activity goes on day and night."
You do not have to go to hell when you die. Say this simple prayer and you will be in heaven when you die. Remember the story of when Jesus was on the cross? There were two others, one on each side of Him that day. One did not believe and the other asked forgiveness of what they did. Jesus told him that day he would be in paradise (heaven) with Him. You have until you draw your last breath to ask forgiveness and ask Jesus to save you. Once you draw that last breath and did not ask Jesus into your heart the outcome will be hell for eternity. There is no going back once you are there. You only have your time here on earth to make the decision to invite Jesus into your life and to save you. It is too late once your life is over here on earth. Say this prayer if you are moved to do so and your heart is nudging you to say this, "Jesus I am a sinner. I know I have lived a life with sin. I ask you today to forgive my sins and wash me clean with the blood you shed when you died just for me. Thank you for forgiving me of my sins and I ask you to come into my heart and live with me. After you were crucified you rose from the dead three days later. I am not praying to a statue or anything like that I am praying to you and you are alive and you hear this prayer I cry out to you from my heart. Thank you for dying just for me so I could be saved and not have to go to hell. Teach me your ways and I invite Holy Spirit to be a part of my life to teach me about you. I love you and thank you for what you did for me so I can be with you forever. Thank you for snatching me away from the jaws of hell and saving me. I love you Jesus. Amen."
He is risen, indeed He is risen. Happy Easter/Resurrection Sunday to you.
PS I also sought out another book I have, the "Heaven Is For Real" version that was written for children to understand. It was refreshing to be reminded of heaven and how it was seen through the eyes of a child and the drawings to express what he saw. That uplifted me after being reminded of what is in hell. See, God is good all of the time and all of the time God is good. There was balance in my day today because Holy Spirit had me reading from both books. The negativity of hell was cancelled out by the splendors of heaven.

I Highly Recommend Seeing The Movie, "Heaven Is For Real." You Will Leave The Movie Feeling Uplifted.

I viewed the new movie, "Heaven Is For Real" and it truly does uplift your spirit. Let me warn you that if you have a tender heart you will be touched several times throughout the movie. I know, I had tears in my eyes several times throughout the movie. They are not tears brought by sadness, they are tears from the tenderness of the movie. Let me tell you that the innocence of this child sharing bits and pieces throughout the movie of what happened and what he saw in heaven just simply warms your heart. For a believer in Jesus it just encourages you more to move on with what you are called to do in your life so when you do go to heaven it will be so much more glorious. Isn't it amazing how God worked through a child to share this tender story with the world. In the movie they do show of the young girl (at the time) that also had an experience in heaven and she lived far away from the main character in this movie. This young lady was used in the realm of painting what she saw in heaven. When Colton was asked what Jesus looked like and he was shown pictures he would say no to the various pictures we find in books. In a chance look at one of her paintings without being solicited he told his father that that picture he saw was what he saw Jesus in heaven. Oh how God surely does use the innocence of children to share His message. That touches my heart even more than the movie and the painting also.
No matter what your age is you will enjoy this movie. I had no idea how this family was ridiculed by others also when they began to share their sons story about heaven. I would guess that comes from ignorance. I am so glad they persevered and shared their story. I read the book and when I discovered he also came out with a book written and geared towards children I also purchased that book and shared that book with a former neighbor. That neighbor told me that their twin died and they had questions about heaven so I thought that book would possibly answer some of their questions.
With this being the Easter season right around the corner why not go and take your family to see this movie.

God Is Faithful When You Step Out In Faith To Share With Someone You Do Not Even Know!

Hello today, a few weeks ago I was shopping at a local store. I was browsing in a certain department. I was not trying to listen to a conversation between two employees but it was right there while I was shopping. From what I caught I believe they were sharing about the one person that went on a job interview. I continued to shop and I was ready to check out in line by the cashier. It was in that moment Holy Spirit prompted me to speak to the person that interviewed after I completed my transaction. I approached them and said excuse me. I did not mean to hear your conversation and I inquired if they went on an interview. They acknowledged that they did and then I spoke forth the word of encouragement letting them know that God is opening the door for this position. I then did something that covered my lack of faith in the word I heard from God. First I saw a sparkle in this person's eyes as I shared that word. I then told them that if it was not the job for them God would shut the door and another door would open for them. That is where I stepped out of faith and I realized it as I spoke forth the next set of words and it was as if I wish I could capture those very words and not speak them.
I thought about it as I left the store and I asked Holy Spirit to forgive me for adding to the word because my faith level was just not there that day. I believe that part of the lack of faith level was because of what I am dealing with in my very own life. I am truly walking by faith in my life right now. At times it is easier said then done if I can be honest with you. When one is used in the capacity of encouraging others it comes so easy to deliver the messages but not as easy to receive the very same messages into your life. There are times when I cry out to God why do you not send someone to me to encourage me or bring forth a prophetic word from the throne room of God. Guess what? It is not much longer after my inquiry that God does not bring someone to me but He brings Himself to me and answers my concerns on my heart through the reading the bible or even through a dream to continue me walking in the realm of faith. He has even used me listening to a preacher on TV or the radio bringing forth a message. It has also come to me through a Christian song I hear on the radio or a CD I may have and play. Another tool He gives to me is that He places it upon my heart to seek out prayer from another person too. That has been such a tremendous blessing in my life.
I am not saying I walk without faith in my life I am just saying it is so much smoother to operate in giving a word of encouragement to a total stranger sometimes than seeking the same for myself in my life. Remember, this is a work in progress, an ongoing learning lesson for me in my life. I then share with all of you so you do not fall for the same traps and you become a stronger person that overcomes circumstances. Remember how I shared with you about the ornate mirror frame and compared it to sharing a word of God with another person. Here is my example of that example. The purpose of the mirror is to reflect back to you the image standing before the mirror right? The ornate frame in which it is housed in has no purpose connected with the main purpose of the mirror. The only purpose is for it to add beauty or design to the mirror itself. Remember when I shared with you to compare this example to giving a word of God to another person? The true word of God is speaking forth what He spoke to your heart for this person. That is all that should come forth in the word delivered, nothing added or subtracted from the word. The portion I added would be an example of adding to the purpose of the mirror, the part when I continued speaking on and then spoke of open doors and closed doors. That is my example in living action to help you bring forth beautiful words from God to His people to encourage them.
Even with my blunder God is still faithful. I asked forgiveness in the parking lot that very day for adding what I added and I asked that it would not take away from His word of encouragement to that person. I was in that very store the other day and I saw one of the persons that was a part of the original conversation. It was by the prompting of Holy Spirit to go up to them and remind them of our conversation and ask if the person got the job they interviewed for. They accepted the job and they shared with me the states they would cover in their new position. It was not some piddly type of job this was a good job they accepted. It was interesting what this person further shared with me. They talked about what I said to them even after the conversation took place and they would let that person know that I inquired of them weeks after the initial conversation. You see, God is in control even when I made a blunder by adding to the words He spoke to my heart for that person.
Here is another valuable lesson to learn also. If someone should approach you with a word from God it is also you responsibility to seek Him and only accept the word/words that your spirit agrees with the words brought forth. You are not to receive into your life words that go beyond what you were suppose to receive. That is the wise person that filters words through Holy Spirit to make sure you only receive what you are suppose to receive and not open the door for doubt or words not spoken for you to you. Use discernment in this. Seek Holy Spirit and He will guide you, He is faithful and He truly will guide you just ask. You have not for you ask not right?

There Are Two Types Of Awesome Viewers/Readers Of This Blog,Those That Are Saved & Those That Are About To Be Saved. Which One Are You?

This is a simple but profound question I ask of you today. Are you saved or are you about to be saved? Jesus died on the cross so you would be able to live in heaven for eternity. Eternity goes on forever and has no end. Would you like to live in heaven or hell for eternity? I choose to live in heaven. How did I get there? Simple, through what Jesus did on the cross when He took the beatings and died for you and I so we can live with Him forever. Not only did He take on the sins of the world as He hung on that cross, He died too. That is not the end of this glorious story though, He rose from the dead three days later and He lives this very day. You see, you cannot pay any amount of money or do any type of work on our own to get to heaven for it has already been done for you through the work of Jesus. It is a gift that is freely given to you so you will be with Him for eternity and not in hell.
You may be wondering how can I get this gift. It is simple you just have to have a heart that is willing to invite Jesus into your heart and life and ask Him to forgive your sins. The best part of this is that He will. He did it for me and he has done it for countless others throughout the ages and He will continue to do it in the days ahead of us also. Isn't that great news, aren't you glad you chose to view this blog today? Please know it is not on my own power that I got up and wrote this today, it was through the prompting of Holy Spirit. Yes, He already knew that you would read this blog and today is the day that you were searching and asking questions and the answer is right before you, it is Jesus.
With a heart that is willing to receive this gift from Jesus and ask to cleanse you of your sins, that is all you have to do today. You know the bible states that we are not promised tomorrow but today is the day of salvation. What does that mean? It simply means that if you feel a tugging at your heart today as you read this then do not let the day pass by without doing something about it. You may be here today and things are fine in your life but you do not know what tomorrow brings to your life. What if you get up tomorrow and go about your day and you come into the path of a reckless driver that strikes your car and you die instantly. You cannot rely on the tomorrows for something you can take control of today. Just a simple but profound thought to think about.
If you are ready to pray to Jesus then lets do it now OK. Repeat this prayer after me:  "Father, in the name of Jesus I ask You Jesus to cleanse all my sins. You died on the cross and took all the beatings too to take the sin away from my life. I admit and I confess to you today that I am a sinner and please forgive those sins. Thank you Jesus for cleansing me and my heart of those sins. They are freely given to you today and I ask You to forgive them and as far as the east is to the west my sins are now forgiven and forgotten by You. Not only did You die on the cross just for me but you gloriously rose from the dead three days later. I am asking a very much so alive Jesus to come into my heart and direct my life path. I always knew I had certain talents or gifts but I just never know exactly how to use these gifts/talents. Please teach me how to use them and what direction You would like my life to take. I want to do what I was born to do with my life. I do not want to miss anything you created me to do with my life. You know me better than anyone else in my life for You created me. I thank you for dying just for me and snatching me from the jaws of hell for all eternity. Thank you for allowing me to stumble upon this writing this very day and time in my life. I give You my life and I trust You and thank you for loving me so much that You died just for me. Amen."
Congratulations!!! The moment you said that prayer did you know all the angels in heaven rejoiced? Isn't that amazing? Imagine the beautiful sound in heaven with the angels rejoicing over you committing your heart and life to Jesus this very day. Also, your name is now recorded into The Lamb's Book of Life. When your time is up here on earth your name is recorded in the book, it is recorded that you can enter into heaven. The bible states that to be absent from the body is to be present with Christ. That means that on the last day here on earth and you take your last breath you will then be present with Christ in heaven.
Let me share this tidbit with you today OK. I have been reading the bible from cover to cover and today I was in 1 Chronicles 4. The book of Chronicles lists the descendants of those in the bible. Tucked in the listing of the descendants is Jabez. He must have been special to God for this is what it states,: "Jabez was more honorable than his brothers. His mother named him Jabez (Painful), because she said that his birth was painful. Jabez prayed to the God of Israel, "Please bless me and give me more territory. May your power be with me and free me from evil so that I will not be in pain." God gave him what he prayed for."
That is my prayer for you today.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, You Caught My Attention With Your "Flavor In Full Bloom" "Butter Pecan Pancake Breakfast." Yum Yum!!!

Anyone that knows me fairly well knows that I do not indulge in eating pecans or dishes made with pecans until.....I stumbled upon this seasonal breakfast item on the menu at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store and decided to try it. I actually shared it with someone since it is a huge breakfast (at least it is for me.) You can order the butter pecan pancakes only, but why not add on the two eggs and bacon for a slight up charge. It is well worth it. The syrup is warm and it is butter pecan syrup. The companion I was with enjoys their pancakes without the syrup and spread the blackberry preserves on the pancakes.
I highly recommend trying them while they are on the menu. It is a real treat if you want to try something a little different for breakfast or an anytime treat. Like I said, I usually do not eat pecans or products, desserts, etc. made with pecans incorporated into the recipe. I do not know why I am not a fan of them but for this short season in my life I have learned to try something new and different and I am glad that I did. That is a true testimony to the delicious flavor of this dish. To take a person who normally does not indulge in pecans and get them to enjoy this dish, which I may add has a nice amount of pecans in the pancakes. See, it is never too late to try something new and different than what one is accustomed to.
Step out in faith today for if you do there just may be someone waiting right around the corner waiting to see your gracious smile or receive kind words of encouragement that you may give to them. We live in a time in which people tend to dwell on the gloom and doom and not see the beautiful sunrise or sunset right before their very eyes.
This is what happened to me the other day...A few days ago I won a contest for free tickets to a worship event. I realized that I would not be able to attend this event so I contacted the radio station and let them know. I just heard on the radio that people were still trying to call in to see if there were anymore free tickets available to win. I then requested that maybe to possibly have another contest to give away the two tickets I was not able to use. I felt in my heart that someone out there would love to go but maybe did not have the finances to purchase tickets. Sure enough, they had someone call in and won the tickets. See how God blesses people? I won these very tickets and was not able to use them but I did not just want to waste them by not showing up and God already knew the person that needed to go in my place.
