I had a conversation with someone recently and what they shared with me troubled my spirit. It caused me to go and search for a book I read years ago and have re-read it also on another occasion. It is called, "A Divine Revelation of Hell Time Is Running Out" by Mary K. Baxter. I read sections of it today and as I was reading Holy Spirit reminded me of what happened to me years ago when I was in a time of prayer. As I am about to write this tears fill my eyes because what I experienced was very real and it was as if it happened to me today it is that fresh in my memory. It always amazes me how Holy Spirit causes one to bring forth remembrance of an incident when He reminds you of something. I was in prayer one day years ago and the only way I can describe what happened is it was as if the carpeting in my room was pulled to the side and the floor opened up for me to hear something. I heard the most awful screams of pain and suffering in my room. I never have heard anything like that before in my life. I was allowed to catch a glimpse of those that suffer in hell via sound. It was awful and I do believe that is when Holy Spirit placed a strong desire in my heart to reach out to the lost. He placed this within me to evangelize those that are about to give their heart to Jesus.
It was today when I was reading sections of the book that it all clicked into place. It was a long time ago when I had that experience and as I was reading, it was revealed to me what the screams were that I heard that day. When the jaws of hell are opened up to receive new people into hell those are the screams I heard when the mouth of hell is opened. Let me share an excerpt from the book: page 179-180 "As we walked, we stopped on a hill overlooking a small valley. As far as I could see there were piles of human souls lining the sides of this hill. I could hear their cries. Loud noises filled the place. Jesus said, "My child, this is the jaws of hell. Every time the mouth of hell is opened, you will hear that loud noise." The souls were trying to get out but could not, for they were embedded in the sides of hell.As Jesus spoke, I saw many dark forms falling down past us and landing with a thud at the bottom of the hill. Demons with great chains were dragging souls away. Jesus said, "Those are the souls that have just died on earth and are arriving in hell. This activity goes on day and night."
You do not have to go to hell when you die. Say this simple prayer and you will be in heaven when you die. Remember the story of when Jesus was on the cross? There were two others, one on each side of Him that day. One did not believe and the other asked forgiveness of what they did. Jesus told him that day he would be in paradise (heaven) with Him. You have until you draw your last breath to ask forgiveness and ask Jesus to save you. Once you draw that last breath and did not ask Jesus into your heart the outcome will be hell for eternity. There is no going back once you are there. You only have your time here on earth to make the decision to invite Jesus into your life and to save you. It is too late once your life is over here on earth. Say this prayer if you are moved to do so and your heart is nudging you to say this, "Jesus I am a sinner. I know I have lived a life with sin. I ask you today to forgive my sins and wash me clean with the blood you shed when you died just for me. Thank you for forgiving me of my sins and I ask you to come into my heart and live with me. After you were crucified you rose from the dead three days later. I am not praying to a statue or anything like that I am praying to you and you are alive and you hear this prayer I cry out to you from my heart. Thank you for dying just for me so I could be saved and not have to go to hell. Teach me your ways and I invite Holy Spirit to be a part of my life to teach me about you. I love you and thank you for what you did for me so I can be with you forever. Thank you for snatching me away from the jaws of hell and saving me. I love you Jesus. Amen."
He is risen, indeed He is risen. Happy Easter/Resurrection Sunday to you.
PS I also sought out another book I have, the "Heaven Is For Real" version that was written for children to understand. It was refreshing to be reminded of heaven and how it was seen through the eyes of a child and the drawings to express what he saw. That uplifted me after being reminded of what is in hell. See, God is good all of the time and all of the time God is good. There was balance in my day today because Holy Spirit had me reading from both books. The negativity of hell was cancelled out by the splendors of heaven.
