Let's Talk About The Prophetic Today. Well Folks, I Am A Day Late In Writing This. No Excuses But I Guess It Is Better Than Being A Week, Month Or Even A Year Late Right?

From time to time I share with you all that I am still in the learning process and sometimes I miss it or do not hit the bulls eye so to speak. I heard the voice of Holy Spirit as I was walking yesterday to write about this after I finished walking. I allowed myself to become distracted and the next thing I knew I was doing busy work type of projects and I did not write. There really is no excuse other than I did not write. Thank God it was not delayed for weeks or months or even years is how I look at it. I do apologize to anyone that truly needed to hear a word from God yesterday. God heard your prayer or request He truly did, it was the vessel He sought out to use that became distracted, for that I ask forgiveness.
It can become frustrating for I know, I have been there. I am seeking God for some direction, information, etc. and nothing happens that day. Could it be that the same thing happened in the life of another person? They heard the cry of God and let distractions blind side them from coming forth. From placing that telephone call to encourage you, sending a brief note or text message or even tweet a message. At the end of the day you feel as if no one cares for you. You may reach out to others a lot and then on the day when you need some encouragement it just does not happen. On occasion, when this happens in my life this is what I do. Sometimes it is not brought on from the lack of anyone not doing what they were suppose to do that day. I will try to call someone and after so many attempts at trying to reach them I then realize, Oh they were not suppose to be there that day because it was Holy Spirit that wanted me to reach out to me that day. That is also what I have found to be truth. The silver lining in this cloud so to speak is this, there will be another opportunity for you and when the timing is right you will get that piece of knowledge or information you were seeking the other day. When you receive it Holy Spirit is faithful and He will bring remembrance to you about what you were seeking on that particular day and that you received it today. I trust that makes sense to you. Oddly enough, in that moment you will be so grateful when that happens. I am not saying you would not be grateful in the other situation but I have found that I tend to be more grateful in the second situation. Maybe it is because Holy Spirit really does care for you and He reminds you and in that moment you feel the connection. Wow, He is real and alive and He truly does care for me.
Let's talk about the prophetic today OK. This is what has been on my heart lately. I was taught this principle many years ago and for some reason I am to share it with you today. I may have even shared it in a prior blog I wrote. I want you to picture a big, beautiful glass mirror with a very ornate frame holding it in place to hang it on the wall.

OK now that you can visualize the mirror let me continue on. When Holy Spirit prompts you to share a word of the Lord with someone you are called to only share the word He is speaking through you. You are not to add or subtract from the message. Liken it to this picture of the glass mirror. What is the purpose of the mirror? It is to show your reflection back to you correct. The only function of this mirror is for that purpose. Now, you see a very ornate, decorative frame that it is housed in correct. The frame may make the wall in which it is placed upon look more appealing than just placing a mirror on the wall without a frame. Focus though, the main purpose of the mirror really has nothing to do with the frame in which it is housed in. The frame does not add to the reflection you see when you look into that mirror. It is an added dimension that houses the mirror.
That is the same way when you share a word of encouragement with another person that Holy Spirit places upon your heart to share with. We are called to be obedient and share what is on His heart with that person. Seek Holy Spirit and ask Him to let you know only what He wants you to share and not be afraid to share the word and not to add your own thoughts and ideas and wants to that word too. You may be blessed right off the get go with doing that and in other cases you may have to learn by trial and error. The person in which He sends you to will know the portion that was from God for it will bear witness to them and their spirit. If there is a section that you may have added or left out they will also sense that too. In that case it is their responsibility to not receive the portions of the word spoken from the person's heart or mind and not the mind of God for them.
An example of doing this right and not right. The other day I stopped to get gasoline. For some reason Holy Spirit had me notice a young guy pulling in behind me to get gasoline. I thought nothing of it as I was getting the gas until this young person went into the store and it was then that Holy Spirit nudged me to speak a brief word to him. I was through getting the gasoline and I was sitting in the car and I wanted to leave but Holy Spirit had me wait. The young man came out of the store and as he was about to walk past my car I said Excuse me, I noticed you when you pulled in for gas and Holy Spirit wanted me to tell you that He said have a great day. When I said that it was almost as if his eyes sparkled a bit. I then said I trust you know what this means. He thanked me and then I was on my way. See, I may not know what that young person is facing in their life but Holy Spirit does.
I sent something twice to someone and each time I was to close the correspondence with certain words. I did not do it so Holy Spirit has been prompting me to go back and undo what I did not even do yet. See what I am talking about. He will remind you. It is best to be obedient to Him for it may be a growing lesson for you in the process. Trust Him for He will never let you down. Now, man may let you down due to their disobedience to Holy Spirit but Holy Spirit will find a way to get the information you are seeking from God He truly will. When I cannot reach someone after an attempt or two I realize it is Holy Spirit that wants to minister to me and that is when I reach for my bible. He will let me know where to turn and sure enough there is the answer to the question I was seeking. Trust Him is the word I share with you today.
