Let Me Share With You About A Miracle

I believe in my heart that a miracle is the divine intervention of God in a person's life to change the present circumstances. This is what happened to me and you decide if it fits in the category of "miracle." I went to a local grocery store a few days ago. This store allows customers to use smaller versions of grocery carts if you are only shopping for a few items and do not need to use a full size grocery cart. I finished my shopping and checked out at the register. I only had a few bags of groceries so I gathered them in my hands and got my car keys out of my purse. I then pushed the cart back by the other carts in the store. I drove off and it was when I pulled in where I live I went to gather my belongings and discovered I did not have my purse and cell phone. I could not call the store since my phone was in my purse. The drive is about 10 minutes or so away from me to the store.
I had to go back to the store to see if someone turned in my purse. I got that yucky feeling for a moment and then I knew God would send forth angels to protect my purse and belongings and I began to remind myself of the many things God has done in my life in the past and surely He will do them for me today too. I get to the store and asked a clerk that was gathering carts if she found my purse. She said no and directed me to Customer Service. As I started speaking with the store customer service rep. I heard my cell phone ringing. I said you are trying to call my cell phone I hear it ringing and then I looked to my left and there it was, my purse sitting behind the counter. I said thank you and commented to the woman behind the counter, "God takes care of His people." I got in my car and checked out the content and nothing was missing, nothing at all. To be cautious I called my bank to see if I needed to do anything and they asked me to verify the last amount I spent and I did and she said I was fine. They asked me all kinds of security questions prior to speaking with me about my account and if anyone tried to use it without having the card they would have to also be able to answer the sames questions correctly.
I wanted to make sure that no one took information off of anything and that is why I called the bank.
Do you realize the times in which we are living in and the evil stuff out there in the world that we hear about a lot? Well, let me report to you today that there are really great people out there that do do the right thing. If it was the reverse I would do the same to help someone out.
I may have wrote about this last year I do not recall if I did or did not. I was in the very reverse situation and found a wallet while I was walking and I brought it home and only looked at the driver's license and realized they lived where I lived so I then turned it into one of the property personnel and they returned it to the owner.
God does take care of His people and look for opportunities to allow God to use you to bless others today. Now, this would be a double miracle if the very person that found and turned in my purse to Customer Service would read this. If you happen to read this I thank you so very much for your kindness and I thank God for the angels He sent forth to look over and keep my purse protected. Amen. One more final thought, God very well could have sent an angel to return the purse for me and they could very well be reading this very blog today.
