Harvest House Publishers, Most Refreshing To Finish Reading A Book & No Typo Errors. Congratulations To A Job Well Done To You All.

I just finished reading a book a friend gave to each one of us that gathered for a luncheon a couple of weeks ago. Reading this book is compelling me to order the book to read that this book takes excerpts from. I recommend this book and then truly follow the praying points on page 60. I prayed them for a few people and one of them was me also. Insightful, 63-page book that you will have no problem reading at all. What was refreshing is that the book was not riddled with well-known people recommending the book or even a forward written by some well-known person. See, when you get back to the basics there is no need to seek endorsements from others because Holy Spirit helped you write the book hopefully and that should be the only endorsement needed as far as I am concerned.

Remember, when you are writing a book it could have been written many years ago and you may have asked someone in ministry to endorse the book. What if they turned out to be one of the ministers that are getting exposed in the church today or may get exposed future tense wise. Do you really now want that endorsement of your book. I wouldn't, but that is just my opinion. Take caution in whom you seek to endorse your publications. If you are established in the publishing realm then why do you feel the need to seek out people to endorse your books. Again, Holy Spirit is your helper when writing and that should be all the endorsement you need anyhow. How come if all these people out there are endorsing books, do they actually read the books all the way from cover to cover, then wouldn't' they find typo errors and inform the author before it goes to print? There I go speaking out loud again. Point being, if God spoke to write the book and Holy Spirit guided you in the writing of the book then there is no need for people to write forwards or endorse books. Why not try it and see if the next book written by you is a best seller because it was solely endorsed by heaven so to speak and not placed in the hands of man to put their seal of approval on it.

Oh, the book I am highly endorsing is by Neil T. Anderson. It says it is a "Harvest Pocket Book" at the top of the cover of the booklet. Entitled, "Your Identity In Christ You Are Accepted. You Are Secure. You Are Significant."

Oh, I just know I will be endorsing a future book to be published. Remember when I shared how an 82-year-old friend was writing his memoirs and is in the process of going through an editor and then getting published in the Fall? Well, he sent our little group an excerpt from the book to read. It brought me tears in my eyes as I read a beautiful poem he wrote as a tribute to his lovely wife. I worked with this man and had no idea at the time how beautiful he writes. As a friend I keep encouraging him to make sure there are no typo errors. Just the other day he shared how so many already proofed the book and even at that he found an error. I would guess you can't have enough eyes reading your draft to look out for errors before it goes to print. When I get a copy of his book, I will let you all know. I think we all want to gather somewhere at The Factory and even if it is just the handful of us gathering, we just have to have a book signing for him. How fun that will be. Do you think that should include cake too.
