Sometimes You Just Need To Stay Home & Do Things Like Ironing Laundered Clothes, Making A Pork Roast In The Oven & Taking In The Sunshine Outside. Maybe A Drive To The Lake Too.

I have found you can't always run around. Going here & there but stay home and do domestic chores. That is a healthy balance and saves on gasoline with the prices @ the pump now. Gee, we had a much better economy when President Trump was in office. I know the price of gasoline was way below what we are paying today for a gallon of gas.

I picked up a small boneless pork roast today and even though it is temperature wise hot outside, I am going to make a pork roast with sauerkraut. How does that sound to you. I love to slice fresh, raw garlic and create pockets inside the meat with slices of garlic. It is wonderful when the roast is cooked, and you get that slice of garlic. At the checkout the person ringing up my items suggested getting a whole pork butt shoulder @ 0.99 a pound and I said that is way too much meat for one person. I do love that she was looking out for me for a great value. People really are kindhearted if you would only give them a chance. I shared with her briefly how senior citizens are being overcharged for living at assisted living or independent living places. It just so natural came out of my mouth as I was wearing my "Miracles Happen" sparkly tee shirt that one day I was going to go to Washington to advocate for senior citizens. They are being ripped off big time and we as people with a good conscience, big heart and helping hands need to defend this group of citizens living in our great country.
