Well Enterprise Car Rental, You Goofed Again. You Really Need To Get Your Act Together @ Rural Office Locations. This Song Is Getting Pretty Old Pretty Fast.

I had to take my car back to the body shop still dealing with the auto collision stuff. Yes, I am back in a car rental once again! I am grateful that the insurance company handling this ordered another car rental for me. So, I find myself dealing with a more rural location of Enterprise and I called them and spoke with them about needing another rental car and they knew which brand was comfortable for me to drive. I ought to be a car test driver for them and report back to the general public which cars are a comfortable vehicle to drive, just kidding. I am glad I can still have a sense of humor through all of this inconvenience. I am learning info about what an insurance company will assist you with and not in regard to a claim when you are the victim, and they are claiming fault in the accident/collision.

They will reimburse you for time missed at work if it is medical related, but NO REIMBURSEMENT of time lost from work when having to deal with taking your car to the body shop and picking it back up and securing a rental car in the process of getting your car fixed. That baffles me because my initial visit with the car rental agency within a matter of a few days I had to request time off for about a total of 7 hours. No reimbursement at all for missed work time, you are on your own when it comes to that. When you tell the insurance company the rental car problems, they respond they can't do anything about it, and they can only approve the car rental reservation and pay for it. Something is very wrong in this picture because one would not even have to be losing work time or running around to much larger rental car locations to get a car if their client never hit my car to even begin with. So, the car is back at the body shop and Enterprise met me there to take me to get the rental car they already supposedly had cleaned for me and ready for me to go that day. Mind you, another 1.5 hours of missed work on this visit (including working with a body shop in which you can only go to during their work hours and not open On Saturday & Sunday.)

I arrive to find a later year I think 2021 not a new Toyota Rav4 this time. I conceded to no leather seats and cloth seats were fine. This car was not prepped properly for me to pick up, so they had to clean it once again. As I was about to leave the location the check tire light was on, and I was assured it was taken care of and the assistant manager filled the air in the tires himself. He assured me the light would go off; it never did. Why would they even put someone in a vehicle with the check tire light on to begin with? I found out later that the tire sensor needed to be changed. That should have been addressed before anyone got in that vehicle. The light never went off so the next day they delivered to my home another Rav4 with over 50,000 miles on it. I did the exterior inspection and never saw so many scratches like I saw on this vehicle. I then looked at the tires for some reason and the 2 front tires looked like they were getting close to tread wear low. I expressed my concern that I take the country roads and in rain it is not safe to drive on tires with the tread low. I said I would keep the other vehicle and to see if they could get2 new front tires on the vehicle then I would trade it out. They said they usually cannot get all 4 new tires but just 2 at a time and I was fine with that. I received a phone call and for some reason they were getting all 4 new tires and would be dropping off the vehicle to me. In talking with the staff, they shared at 1 point how prior to covid they would sell their rental cars at 30,000 miles and since then they have to hang onto them until higher mileage before they can be sold now. Each time I would give them either something I baked or even snack size packages of crackers for the office to enjoy. So, they bring back the car with new tires on it and this time the check tire light is on, and it wasn't on before in this vehicle. I suggested that they should bring it back to the tire company that they bought the tires from, this is quite honest, sloppy work that someone paid for. There was no cap on the valve of one of the tires either. Sure enough, when they put on the new tires, they didn't fill one enough with air and that had to be done and then they also put an air valve cap on the tire that didn't have one.

I do some shopping that evening and I am placing items in the back storage area and noticed the license plates from another state to me looked like the tags were expired. Who in the heck is even checking out these vehicles and why would a vehicle with expired tags even be on a lot for rental to begin with. So, yesterday morning I am back at the local rental office inquiring about having potential expired tags. I even check the glove compartment box and that paperwork did not look up to date. They checked and said the registration was good and current just that they have not received the tags in the mail yet. My concern was response to them saying police are aware when they run license plates that this sort of thing happens frequently with Enterprise rental cars and don't worry about it is what I was told. I then came back with a commonsense answer that even though it is current registration what is one supposed to do if they happen to be pulled over by the police? They then printed a current registration type of paper for me to keep in the glove compartment box. I am beginning to wonder if any of this is even worth it anymore. When I was there, they were cleaning/prepping a Buick SUV and while it was still in the wash area, they let me try the seat in that SUV and it was not very comfortable for me to sit in. It was definitely a newer car and had some sort of set up you push p for park but then you lift up somehow a button for other gears. I did not want to have to go through another car change and I just said I will keep what I have. Then they told me I could go into Murfreesboro on Sunday to another location to see if they had a vehicle for them to trade out for me. This has been such a hassle for me and why should I have to go out of my way to deal with this once again.

Enterprise Car Rental may I suggest to you to either close this rural location because you only send them b quality type of vehicles and their office needs to be remodeled or upgraded somehow. Or find them a new location with more parking spaces and upgraded car washing area to then be able to offer customers decent cars to rent. Maybe you should go back to the old policy of selling vehicles when they hit the 30,000-mile marker because it is quite obvious that customers do not take good care of the vehicles, they rent from you. I commented about why so many scratches on these 2021 vehicles, and they could not answer because they were baffled too since the cars are keyless entry? I try to take good care of the rental vehicles, the newer one I originally had I actually washed it outside myself before leaving it at the body shop for Enterprise to come pickup. Are people so lame anymore that they think they can just not take good care of a vehicle when they rent it. I am predicting Enterprise if you do not take care of these issues, it will not be long before you are going out of business. I never had problems like this before when I rented vehicles in one of the Murfreesboro locations before so I just assumed I would have the same great experience at the rural location. I feel sorry for the employees having to try and sell b quality vehicles to the consumer that needs to rent a car and having to work in that location. Get them new offices with lots of parking spots so "a" quality vehicle can be a regular option for customers and not settle for b quality choices.
