I found this video on Bonnie Jone's "Good News Express." She interviews this bubbly personality young woman. Tremendous testimony that blessed me ever so. My ears perked up when she began to share about how Holy Spirit uses her sense of smell in regard to ministry. I also like the fact that she flows in deliverance ministry also. I guess when you flow in an area in regard to ministry you tend to connect with others in the same as they share their story. You can relate to an aspect of what they are sharing. She shares of her connection to Kathie Walters and a book Kathie wrote. This caused my interest to become alert and after the viewing of the video I then searched for the book and ordered it. The title of the book, "The Spiritual Meaning of Aromas, Colors, Flowers and Trees." I look forward to reading this book, I have a hunch I will probably use this book when it comes to prophetic dreams too.
As Mary shared about smelling frankincense & myrrh it brought me back to a time when I was at a service @ Grace Center in Franklin. I was sitting in the back of the sanctuary, I kept smelling the same scent very strong. So much so I looked around me in all directions to see if someone had a bottle of anointing oil opened up. No one did. It was the presence of God most strong in the sanctuary. I was there again for another service sitting again in the back and sure enough, I smelled fragrance this time. Imagine this, the presence of God is so strong in this church that it wafts to the very back of the sanctuary. I can only imagine how strong it must be in the front of the sanctuary if it was that strong way in the back. If you should have the opportunity to visit this church, I highly recommend signing up for the prophetic ministry on a Sunday morning. I have found that any prophetic words spoken in my life in the time of ministry have been accurate. I have never received a prophetic word from the same team. Total strangers that do not know me bringing forth a word of the Lord, always fascinates me. Please know I do not seek prophetic words from this church on a regular basis, only as Holy Spirit guides me. Don't forget to have the recorder ready on your phone so you can tape record the word and take it with you. You should have the word confirmed and I highly recommend you taking the time to review the recorded word and transcribe it so you can further seek the Lord with the word given. There is something I have found that when you hear the word you catch some things. It is when you are transcribing the word and reading it you just may catch further highlights.
I made a new recipe tonight. I saw it in one of my cookbooks and it intrigued me. It is actually like making an 8 x8 Snickers bar. There are steps involved in this recipe. You have to melt chocolate and place in the 8 x8 pan and let it set in the freezer for 5 minutes or until it is set. Then you make the nougat portion with marshmallow creme, vanilla, smooth peanut butter and powdered sugar. You place that over the chocolate layer then top that with peanuts. You melt caramels with heavy cream and that goes as the next layer. You have to let that settle in the refrigerator and then once again you melt chocolate with some shortening and that is the top layer. Will probably share with my neighbors and let them know it is a new recipe I tried. So much fun baking then blessing others with the fruit of your labor.
I am putting together an Ohio made gift. I knew it needed a little something more to the items I already ordered from Ohio businesses. Coffee from a roastery in Ohio. I ordered a few different ones. I order what seems to be an interesting flavor and it is always more wonderful when it is on sale too. How does apple strudel flavor sound to you?
