Did You Ever Experience Event Paintings By Jim Chapman? I Attended A Wedding A Couple Of Years Ago & Saw This In Action. It Captivated My Attention.

A friend of mines daughter got married a couple of years ago. It was a lovely event all around at The Loveless Cafe, The Barn. It was a beautiful day weather wise to have the ceremony outside to the left of the event barn. Then while the couple were taking pictures after the ceremony, we were then on the right side, the grassy side of the venue enjoying appetizers and refreshments. We were then invited back into the barn to enjoy the reception. It was such a lovely wedding. Done in the style of farm to table sort of set up. The meal was wonderful and the music too. I remember the floral arrangements; I never saw such huge roses as were used in the floral settings. I do believe fresh eucalyptus was also used.

The former event planner side of me was intrigued with a unique activity taking place at this particular reception. A table was set up for the artist to work at and create a painting of this particular event. Imagine that, capturing an event on paper through the eyes of the artist. So unique. Now if I was still doing event/wedding planning this would have gone into my creative idea file. I would tuck away in this file unique services for the right couple that would come along, and this might fit into their dream wedding plan. I kind of miss those days because I was able to be an active part in the happy day for couples. I also was able to comfort those that came in to plan a comfort meal after a funeral service. I also got to know local businesspeople and even those in the political arena too. Along with school events, a variety of events to be planned.

My mom went to a craft class the other day and made not 1 but 2 heart shaped wreaths. Remember @ 92 you do not lose your creative flair. Check out this talented man's artwork at his website. A new spin on how you can capture your wedding not only on film/video but with an artist's eye for beauty. This is sweet, my friend was telling me how her daughter and son-in-law asked her to take their picture for their Christmas cards. Where they stood in their home for the picture the artist rendition of their wedding was hanging on the wall behind them. Sweet wedding with sweet memories captivated in a unique style.
