A New Day With Pristine, White Snow Covering The Earth. At Least Where I Live That Is.

The wind persisted in howling through the night. I put the quilt over my head to keep extra warm and muffle the wind noise. It worked because I fell asleep in the midst of our little snow storm.
Storms will come and go in your life and the anchor is Jesus to keep you steady and secure. Do you trust Him even when you want the wind to blow you elsewhere? You should because that wild, untamed wind could blow you to places that seem lovely at first and then the mask comes off and you realize Oh this isn't where I am supposed to be. As tempting as It is just don't move, stay anchored and ride out the temporary storm ok.
As the new day dawn's a new look on life will also join it. The filth or dirt so to speak on the ground is covered up with the freshness of freshly laid layer of pristine white snow. How beautiful. Enjoy the scene while it is there in the moment before the snow melts.
I do hope my carnations make it since they are covered in a slight layer of snow. Yesterday as the warning began to appear on my phone I went into Franklin to do a little shopping before 3PM. That is when the winter mixture was to start. I made it home as the rain was beginning.
The day before I was @ a Tuesday Morning and there was a faux fur collar on a ruana that caught my attention. I tend to wear ruanas throughout the winter as opposed to winter coats. Now, definitely a winter coat if shoveling snow though. I went to the Franklin store to see if they had a better selection, they did not.
I came back home to the store by me and it was still there. 2 different choices to choose from. Both had the same reversible material. It was the faux fur collar that varied. Either green (in which I tend to wear lots of green clothing) or navy blue.
Both colors were not perfect matches when you wore it on the reverse side so I asked a fellow shopper her opinion. We both agreed the green collar to compliment my reddish hair tone.
I had a similar patterned blanket at home so in the meantime before going shopping I brought it to my closets to see if I had clothes, jewelry and boots that  could coordinate with it. I do so that is how this new ruana joined my collection.
I even searched out brooches I have to anchor it if I wanted to wear it a certain style.
When driving yesterday how appropriate the song, "Let's Get Cozy" was playing in the car. The cozy I found was resting in the arms of Jesus during the snow storm.
May I suggest to get cozy with Jesus to ride out the storm so you can see the beauty to behold after the storm passes by.
Capture each moment so as to not miss what He has planned just for you. Your plan may look slightly different then mine but that's ok. See, I would have chose to make the faux colored collar reversible also on the ruana if I was the designer. That designer saw a different perspective and went with what they saw. It may not be the exact match but it works as a whole picture. Your perspective blended with another's perspective given can just be the whole picture when brought together.
It always amazes me when I sit down to write this blog. It starts out 1 way and then Holy Spirit blends it all together to make it a complete writing. All the glory and praise goes to God alone and no one else, only Him.AMEN.
It actually looks like a winter wonderland out here, imagine that in TN. Time to have my morning cup of decaf coffee with breakfast. Peppermint Cream is the coffee flavor.
