May I share with you what transpired yesterday afternoon? Prior to this I was watching the evening live streaming of Joan Hunter's Ministry School Ordination classes. As you already know, I completed all the course requirements to get ordained. Read the required books/viewed the DVD's just did not fill out paperwork to submit to get ordained and attend the actual ordination classes. There was something that stuck with me during the last few nights, Even if no one gets healed right then and there keep on praying for the one's in need of a miracle. See, God plants strategic thoughts, words heard for when He wants you to step out in faith right. I do not know what happened last night on the live streaming because I had a prior commitment to watch something else last night.
I had a few errands to deal with yesterday so I was here and there and a bit of everywhere. Wanted to head into Franklin yesterday afternoon but it did not happen so maybe for today, we'll see. I do have to deal with getting matched correctly for the right foundation shade for my skin tone. Beleive it or not, last time I was matched for a color it was no where near my skin tone. So, the other day with not correctly matched color I went to Belk's and I was matched a color. I went as far as the parking lot and it was not for my skin tone. I then went back in the store to speak with the consultant and she was on break. Another woman from a different line of cosmetics tried to help me but she really did not know this line of cosmetics so I then left the store with the wrong color of foundation. Went back to the same store and was matched again on proper color of foundation for my skin tone. Get that one home and still not correct shade. I then began to look at other names of different foundations I had in the past with the same Estee Lauder products just with different formulations they then discontinued. Why do you continue to discontinue products that work Estee Lauder? Oh, by the way I see you increased the price of a particular foundation since the last time I purchased it.
So, with my samples in hand I will be in search of the perfect shade of foundation for my skin tone. See, I used to work for Estee Lauder and even back then the stores chose to use certain lighting which is not an accurate light to get a true match color when testing one's skin tone color for foundation matching. I used to walk the customer by the natural light you would get by one of the entrance doors away from the not good lighting of the store to more true, natural light. You do not want to see on a customer's face a line of color from the testing area of their face. You want to see that the color sample blends in with their natural skin tone. See, some things you learn throughout life stay with you.
I was at a local car dealership that day having recall work done on the car. Since the last time someone sat in my car to get my tires rotated I have not been able to get the steering wheel adjustor mechanism to let me bring down the steering wheel to a comfortable height for me. I asked the car dealership that sells the line of my particular type of car to help me with this. He tried a few times and then told me it was broken and they would have to take it apart which would cost money to see about replacing it. My gut instinct that I thought to myself was not so fast buster not so fast. As I was there reading a book while waiting for the car to be taken care of I got this Holy Spirit idea. He reminded me exactly where to go after this appointment. Well, after a stop along the way.
I go to the tire store where they last rotated the tires and asked to speak with the manager. I was actually speaking to the manager at the time. I explained that the dealership said it was broken and needed to be fixed. The manager asked me if it was ok to get in the drivers seat and have a look at it. Sure enough, it was not broken and he then gave me a mini demo before I left on how to exactly work this mechanism. I tried it and it worked and then tried it again later to make sure I remembered how to adjust the steering wheel. I thanked him and told him how the dealership wanted to charge me to take it apart to see it didn't work. I assured the manager I will be back to this store location, well I already go to this location. It sure is good to see that there are people out there willing to assist people.
Off to Bargain Hunt because I received a sales advertisement. When an email blast for a sale goes out maybe Bargain Hunt should not send it out unless there is enough merchandise in the sales flyer that each store actually has. When I was in the store I noticed a older in age woman placing a child in the back portion of the cart. This child did not fit in the front area where you would place a toddler aged child to sit. As I was going to my car I saw this same woman trying to get the child from the cart into their car. Sitting in my car Holy Spirit asks me to go and see if they need prayer. I pulled up my car next to theirs and asked if I could pray for the child. She said yes and I then extended my hand towards him as she was getting him situated in the car. I prayed as Holy Spirit showed me the words to pray. As a finishing part of the prayer I told this child I will see him 1 day in heaven and we will run and praise in heaven. The grandmother then said he could not hear. He was born deaf and blind and was only a bit over 1 pound when he was born. My response to her was Holy Spirit can make him understand what was just prayed somehow. He was 10 years old going on 11 years old. I wanted this young child's limbs to be straightened out and him to no longer be deaf or blind. The grandmother then extended 1 of her hands to reach my left hand and thanked me.
That was my purpose yesterday amongst all the busyness. Planned timing of Holy Spirit to go here go there and then go here. Listen to Him for He knows exactly what He is doing. Bless you Cameron, bless you and we will meet in heaven one day. Now come up to me in heaven and introduce yourself to me so we can run, jump and have fun too ok.
Hummingbirds were still here yesterday, I put out freshly made nectar for them the day before. I think I may have some recent patio videos of them to share.
