Gullible Male Ministers Quit Being Taken In So Easy, 1 Kings 13: 9-34

What does a spouse do when their spouse is not following biblical principles & not walking in the ways of the bible? Do you stand by and defend them & their "wrong doings" or do you protect the sheep you are called to shepherd? Before an advisor may take a stance to support 1 spouse over the other may I suggest further delving into the full picture. Just a thought.

May I even go as far as to suggest interviewing people that used to attend the ministry. For 1 reason or another Holy Spirit pulled them back from attending anymore. There just may be a wealth of truth & knowledge from these individuals. Like correspondence emails in which they may have proposed questions to the ministry about this or that. They still may have the responses sent back to the inquiry.

Don't be sucked into a sympathetic story when the full story may not have been delved into. I beleive in restoration & a stronger testimony that breaks forth from the repentance in their lives. It takes 2 to walk in agreement & if sin is rampant then I would like to think that 1 spouse was not being an enabler throughout the ordeal. I beleive strongly in submission to a spouse. There comes a point when you have to become tough & not have a closed eye to things going on around you.

Get the full scope story before taking sides in a matter. For if you are in a position of influence you owe it to everyone, including Holy Spirit to do thorough searching before you place a stamp of approval on 1 versus the other spouse. If you search hard enough you will find those that will shed true insight on the matter.

After I received these words Holy Spirit prompted me to read about the old prophet that first of all disobeyed the command of the Lord and was snookered by another prophet. Even the elect can be deceived into believing something that throws them off of their divine destiny. Choose wisdom to not fall for that trap. As I read this scripture I also read the notes I wrote in the bible margin once as I was reading this scripture. This is what I wrote: "Be cautious of deceptive prophets that will lie to fulfill their plans/agenda. Seek God to increase your discernment & follow God's voice/direction over mans."
