I Keep Singing This Over & Over Again: "I Hear The Sound ..."

I rose this morning from a wonderful dream. I pondered about it in bed before I got up for the day. Yes, it was from Holy Spirit. Thoughts from yesterday events tried to block my pondering about this dream. I put my head under the cover so as to not be distracted with other bombarding thoughts. There is more as the day goes on Holy Spirit will further reveal to me. I had communion today and was inspired to share with you a cloth mask collection I have. Along with the recipe for the fruit bars so you can make it also. This recipe is many years old as you can tell by the picture (I use this recipe frequently as it comes back for me to bake in cycles of life.) I have found that Smucker's cherry preserves & apricot preserves work nice in this recipe. I have also used cherry pie filling. Today I had some fresh organic blueberries I placed on top of the cherry preserves and they blend in lovely with the preserves as it bakes in the oven. I tend to hold back more than what the recipe calls for as the topping portion too. Oh, sometimes you need to bake it a bit longer than the recipe calls for so check on it to see if baking a bit longer will make it a bit more golden in color. Oh, I never bake with oleo or margarine, just butter. One more thought, you can use a variety of preserves. Throughout the years I have baked this with peach, blackberry and raspberry preserves.

I have to send out a package and I got this idea to make a 1/2 recipe of the fruit bars to include in the package. When I make this recipe I tend to not add the walnuts unless I know someone really likes them. So, I am baking in the kitchen and I begin to sing these words over and over again: " I hear the sound of a mighty rushing wind, a mighty rushing wind a sound forever a sound forever." I am even humming/singing it now as I write this blog. Search and expect the mighty rushing wind ok.

All these years of baking this recipe and today I noticed the cookbook has a typing error, can you find it? I bake this at least a minimum of 45 minutes.
