Andante Andante

That is the word sung twice together to a generic tune this morning. I was up early enough that I was able to use my exercise bike before getting ready for work. I usually do not open the blinds on my patio door that early but for some reason Holy Spirit said open them before I got on the exercise bike and I said ok and did. As I was exercising I kept humming and singing these two words together Andante, Andante and then I would hum in between the set and kept singing them softly. I looked up and saw a bird sitting on the patio ledge. The ledge had a mixture of snow and ice on it. I kept singing and it looked at me. Kept on singing and then it went to the patio ground. The more I sang it kept walking closer to the door towards the music I would sing. I noticed this bird had an orangish/reddish brown type of breast area but it was rather large in size. I thought to myself this bird is pregnant and really looked full like ready to give birth fullness. It walked over to a chair I had on the patio and then flew back on the patio ledge. You will not beleive what I saw next. I could actually see this bird trying to push out a white colored egg. I was really finishing up on my bike and I did not stop to take a picture. I thought maybe I was seeing this not correctly at first. I would see a portion of the white egg trying to come out, then it would retract a little and then another push and I would see more of the white egg again. I was concerned for this bird to lay this egg or maybe even more than one egg on top of the ice/snow mixture and not in a nice bird nest for it to be nurtured and then eventually hatch the baby birds. I thought to myself, you don't want to deliver that egg on top of the ice/snow rail would the baby bird eventually die there? No sooner did I think that very thought the bird flew away.

I then researched and it is fine to feed birds believe it or not egg shells and sesame seeds. I had both and I put some outside for the birds. I do not know if they will eat it or not but it is the thought that counts right. If the weather was a bit better I would have loved to see that momma bird birth her baby bird eggs. Oh, the definition of andante: "especially as a direction at a moderately slow tempo."

Guess what? Prior to me getting up I had a dream in which I was at a wedding of a relative. It was outdoors and there was a grand animal procession with a elephant leading the wedding march procession down the aisle with a child (relative) on top of the elephant and my aunt who is now with the Lord in heaven was walking beside this great big elephant giving out silver spoons to people. I was sitting with one of my children on my lap (they were as if they were a child again) and I looked to my right and saw people feeding birds it looked like with bird seed/feed. I got up and had breakfast and oddly enough I had eggs this morning before exercising today. See, Holy Spirit already had my bird watching/observation adventure already set up for me. The question is would I respond to His gentle voice nudging me to open the patio door blinds before I exercised. We all have choices to make don't we. Are you choosing wisely in your life? If not, ask forgiveness of Jesus and then do choose wisely. I am being reminded of something my dad use to say. Once you make a choice and you follow through on that choice there is no going back to undo it. Even if you only have a split second to decide if you are going to do something or not, choose wisely.

You know what? I wanted to get on my bike again this evening and did so. There is something about this word 'andante' because I found myself singing those two words again this evening but I would sing in tongues in between those two words, interesting, very interesting. You do know this word is in reference to music.
