After work I dropped off a plate of the Pumpkin Crumb Cake with Caramel Sauce to the leasing office where I reside. Off to walking in the park. Sometimes I tend to walk alongside a river. The region was the location of a big Civil War battle years ago. Sometimes when I walk I ponder on things like this: did Indians hide out/live in the woods before; both Confederate and Union soldiers walked in this very territory years ago. Tonight Holy Spirit prompted me to walk like this. Remember I woke from a dream this morning in which I was hearing the song, "The Battle Hymn of the Republic?" When I searched for the songs to post this morning I found out that both Confederate and Union soldier both liked this song.
I walked the trail and found on my phone different versions of this song and raised the volume and played them as I walked the trail. I beleive it was played in a prophetic act to work towards healing the land. To also honor all lives that were lost during that battle. Living with Holy Spirit is so much fun. If you knew me many years ago I would have never done anything like that before. I love Holy Spirit and the journey we walk together. He guides me and shows me the way to go and to step outside the box and walk in faith.
