This is a glass mirror with an ornate frame. Let's rehearse this again if we may. Many years go an elder in the church that also trained up people in the prophetic gave me a lesson and used a similar type of mirror. He was teaching me about bringing forth a true/pure/crystal clear prophetic word of the Lord (not a distorted word.) He walked me from the sanctuary to the foyer and brought me before a glass mirror. He asked me what the purpose of the mirror was. I answered him. He then proceeded to explain a word of the Lord likened to this glass mirror. The purpose of the glass mirror portion is to reflect what the image is of the person looking into the mirror. That is what a word from the Lord should reflect, the true word spoken through you. Does the ornate frame have anything to do with the purpose of the glass reflection. No, not one thing it is just added to bring beauty to the item. Like a word coming forth it is to be pure and just the words spoken forth through you. He proceeded to share with me that when bringing forth a word do not add you own words, thoughts or opinion to the "Thus Saith The Lord" words given. Also, he cautioned me to not leave out words He is speaking forth through you.
You may not like what you will be hearing but trust Him because He knows the intent and purpose of the words. So lesson learned just bring forth the true words spoken to your heart from Holy Spirit. Do not add or subtract either. He brings forth the words so He will defend His words. Are you afraid of what others will think or do you not care that you have to answer to the Lord, the giver of life?
Onto another subject. Yes, I did hear from Holy Spirit in regard to pulling back from attending that retreat this past weekend. I heard Him speak to me, I pulled back and then took action to cancel the adventure. Then He brought forth confirmations after the actions were done. I was sharing with a friend the other day about this situation. They listened to my words of explanation and then told me that I have grown in the Lord. Even though I wanted to go and already paid for the retreat I heard the voice of Holy Spirit and did not jump ahead of Him and go forth because I wanted to. I humble myself to Holy Spirit's wishes for me. I pulled back. The word for the conversation and day was to wait upon the Lord He will direct my steps and then yield to His voice and not go ahead of Him.
I happened to see a ministry picture from the weekend as I was praying for them this weekend. I was a bit surprised that I saw so many people gathered together and there was no social distancing going on from what I saw. Taking caution to take temperatures when entering the building and filling out paperwork and then not following through with social distancing or wearing masks. Either that is true faith or blatant disregard for the lives of others. I am glad I did not put myself in that situation. I think they were also doing a very nice service to the guests and parking cars for them. That part also did not settle right with me. I do not know who the person is parking my car and I know how I keep my car cleaned and wipe down germs etc. A stranger entering my car and not having the freedom to come and go as you would please because you are at the mercy of another. To take you to your car or take you from your car to the event. The little signs were there I just needed Holy Spirit to connect the dots. I pray the attendees are all fine and they did not contract anything from attending that gathering.
I have the wisdom to turn this over to Holy Spirit to deal with it. I am most thankful for Holy Spirit's wisdom. Are you?
